Called tesla, they confirmed the car was built November 2022 and came to UK December 2022. They said car has no milleage and I will be the first owner. I don't why why they are giving me a car that has been in the UK for 7 months? Seems like it can be a show room car?

Called Tesla and will collect this Saturday instead of home delivery. Got the VIN and plate. The VIN says Manufactored around end October 22 / Start November 2022. So for sure a car that was already in the UK (someone cancelled their order or something?)

I was told by the Tesla rep that the car assigned to me was already in Birmingham waiting. They would just need to arrange transport. And later that day got delivery confirmed for the 26th. So I think maybe there was still some UK stock? From some cancelled orders or something? Don't know why...

You think? The Tesla Rep said: "We cannot advise on a specific date as the shipments have not yet been scheduled" So I thought no cars were on their way to the UK. What makes you think that ship is to the UK and has Model 3s?

Apparently my leasing paperwork got delayed, and just got told this by Tesla: Considering the shipment from China to UK is around 30 days, and the ships for Q3 haven't even departured yet, I guess I'm looking at a minimum of 5 or 6 weeks (being lucky) for my Model 3 :(
