    What the puck?

I hope they make polyethylene one, coz rubber one is too soft

    What the puck?

20mm is only for 4680 model Y, and I think you should use regular one for LR.

    4680 Updates, Main Thread

just for correction: Gen 1 is Model Y AWD built in Austin, not RWD.

Model Y AWD - puck size discrepancy

I did a measurement with my caliber, the post/shaft need to be 19 to 19.5mm, an the legth is about 0.75 inch (19mm), but I would bring it down to 15mm.

Model Y AWD - puck size discrepancy

Thanks, good choice as well. I don't mind the custom thing as long as it works great. I am wondering how many of us want it, maybe its good to place a big order to let them fabricate it.

Model Y AWD - puck size discrepancy

I am asking one of the tesla accessory vendors but its weekend in China, so she won't reply the message. I even asked her to provide Model Y AWD ( 4680 battery) accessories , specially the Front and rear door sill protectors because our 4680 model is all carpet. It really depends on the...

Model Y AWD - puck size discrepancy

I do not think so because the post/shaft is just to locate the jack point correctly. I am not sure how hard to file down the alum. and the Potauto 20mm delivery date is crazy ( in Dec). I ordered the polyurethane jack pucks in 25mm, so I think its easier to file it down with my gunsmith tools.

    What the puck?

I have read the whole 5 pages and it looks like one of the solutions is buy the Potauto Universal Aluminum jack pad in "20mm" then we file/sand it down to 19.5mm. This looks like it would take hours to do 4 set. However, I am wondering if its possible to buy the 25mm Polyurethane model Y lift...

Model Y AWD - puck size discrepancy

Thanks for all the information, I have read that "what the puck" post, it looks like the only way we can do now is buying the "potauto 20mm" puck, and hand fit down to 19.5mm?

Model Y AWD Austin front and rear sill protector???

Hi, I just received my Austin built Model Y AWD ( not LR and Performance) model and noticed my front and back sill were all carpet which was totally different from Model Y LR and P. I have checked Amazon and other websites and noticed there is no Sill Protector for model Y AWD because their...

Model 3 LR not currently available to order (USA) [posted 08.12.2022 --Its back! 05.02.2023]

yea, probably parts from China and assembled in the U.S. When I was working for the U,S gov as an facility engineer, we needed to purchase a lot of LED lights back to 2014, and 80% of them were made in China. However, I was told if the LED lights were assembled in the united State, US government...

if the car is built in Austin, 90% HW3.0 assigned.
  25. D

    Model Y AWD Standard Ordered April-May 2023

yea, what I read was only a few cars were built with HW4.0 in Austin in a short period of time, then Austin factory moved back to HW3.0 again. ( probably they found extra left over HW3.0? )
  26. D

    Model Y AWD Standard Ordered April-May 2023

THere is a post saying Austin is still building cars with HW3.0, so even you hold/reject, you may still get the HW3.0.
