Tesla's Supercharger Team was recently laid off. We discuss what this means for the company on today's TMC Podcast streaming live at 1PM PDT. You can watch on X or on YouTube where you can participate in the live chat.
I've only had my Model 3 LR for a few weeks, but I had some interesting reactions.
1. We have a distant family member wrapped up in conspiracies. She thinks we are mind controlled.
2. Similar thing from co-worker who thinks EVs are worse for the environment than ICEs
3. weird event with a Subaru...
I called and got the regional email address, support said it goes to the same place for the next agent anyway. Just fewer ticket fields pre-filled I'd assume.
I’m the account owner and the app is 4.21.5-1747 iOS. Funnily enough I had the feature prior to delivery. I don’t think it’s a leasing issue as it was there prior to delivery. And should be there for non Tesla owners who make use of Tesla chargers.
I've heard they use basemaps from various sources. Likely same ones Google uses like OpenMaps, TomTom, I still see Nokia street mapping cars driving around here so maybe Nokia depending on region.
So rather than Waze using Google, Waze and Google draw from the same basemaps then do their own...
Support rep can see it on her phone or at least said she could. Maybe different for them. She was 100% certain it should be there.
My question was account related to a refund. My novated leasing company paid the total price of car so my deposit needs to come back, so didn't seem related to a...
Is Help missing from Tesla App for anyone else?
I just got off the phone with Tesla Support and they advised it's the best way to communicate. But when they stepped me through finding Help it's not there.
I can't find it on the website either. The contact us page also seems to just loop back...
This is why I'm considering a proper mount, besides the fact my phone doesn't charge properly in the pod.
Although I wonder how long before the countermeasure laws are updated to include any app or software.
My old man was sold on Waze the day it pointed out a parked HWP and several stopped...
Yeah, I've always found shades essential in cars with a glass roof. My Golf had a tinted sunroof and you could still feel the heat on top of ear unless you slid the mesh across.
So far I haven't been bothered by the glass roof in the model 3 though. Even during test drive on Gold Coast...
My M3 came with EY as well. Delivered last week. The carrier was all Model 3s, sequential order. One for me and the rest were staff cars for Essential Energy.
Had M3 5 days. Heard faint rattle at 80km+ googled a bit and so glad I did. This was the fix. I had some foam I cut into strips and lined the edge of the arches. Seems to have done the trick.
My gfs iPhone 14 Pro Max in Apple leather case charges no problem. My phone is the same with same case and won’t charge. I am bemused. Apple must be sourcing coils from various sources. I haven’t tried upside down though.
I thought I'd researched Model 3 extensively, but I had no idea they were coming with matrix headlights ready to be enabled.
The only feature I missed from my Golf.
Having had my car for a few days, I decided to check what was in the bag in the boot. It's a mobile charger. I thought these weren't included anymore. Happy it's there. About to head to my parents' place for a long weekend, and this is perfect.
Ordered in December last year, so maybe I made the...
Up until final invoice Tesla will update to coincide with pricing and tax changes.
I had 3 changes while waiting for mine. Caused some strife with the novated lease company, but got there in the end.
For people who got delivery, How accurate was the ETA?
I'm on MNC NSW and Tesla gave ETA of tomorrow, but advised it's just a guess and not actually from the carrier.
Car was picked up last Friday.
I've always used CarPro CQuartz. Then maintain with the CarPro washes and detailers. I do paint correction first, but it's not required.
Should be good for 2 years.
This will be first Tesla I'm doing though. Considering just getting it professionally done. (Did my back in over xmas and hasn't...
Well, here I am in the waiting room. I have been chasing Lease Company all day; I should have been on top of them sooner.
Tesla called to say the car is ready and taking up space, lol.
I think it's all settled; just waiting for the delivery date.
