Tesla's Supercharger Team was recently laid off. We discuss what this means for the company on today's TMC Podcast streaming live at 1PM PDT. You can watch on X or on YouTube where you can participate in the live chat.
I found this thread and wanted to add that I just submitted a new service request at 49,990 milles and was given a zero cost approval as covered under basic warranty. I did take a video and screenshots of my car's mileage and the issue (Driver window making loud bangs when rolling up and down)...
A rock flew up and cracked my screen. I'm starting the process with my insurance (USAA) and they want to try to repair it with safelite. It's small size just annoying. I did find the rock on my dash cam but it so small it's really hard to track if it fell off the truck in front.
I had this issue and it was an easy fix at the service center (wasn't able to get a mobile service out). My steering wheel was a few degrees to the right. Autopilot never had an issue and I only noticed it when driving in Nebraska / Kansas straight roads that my tesla T wasn't perfectly straight.
After looking at it more (and without actually trying it), it wouldn't be a good idea. As you load bikes on the rack the weight is transferred down and since there isn't a bumper lip it'll just keep sliding down. If it had more a bump ( the volt has a tiny angled bump on the latch) it would...
I used Torklift's Installer/Dealer search (Torklift Central | Torklift Central Hitch Tow installs trailer hitches for all types of vehicles, specializes in custom fabrication and manufactures the EcoHitch to help you Get Out and Go Your Way!) to find two Atlanta installers to have my hitch...
I thought my Y was broken when I arrived. I tried 3 random chargers and they were all flashing red, car said out of order. I tried the rest of the them. The Y said "starting to charge" and then after 2 minutes it failed and said check cables. It's disappointing for sure and there is no other DC...
That's good to know. I reported it on Plugshare, I arrived with under 50% and had to slow drive it down to Greensboro with 6% left, and that station was barely working with everyone pulling just 32kw and 4 stalls not connecting.
It worked great on last Wednesday, I pulled 250kw!
I noticed this cable was dangling on the front passenger wheel well. I was in a hurry and snap this picture and tucked it into the bumper. I thought I saw another thread with this but couldn't find it. Is this the cabling for the Pedestrian Warning System?
I have a Saris Bones bike rack from my Chevy Volt with the hatch huggers, I can try and see if it fits securely on. I don’t see why it wouldn’t just have to adjust it and make sure it doesn’t scratch the car. I’ll be able to test this when I take delivery in a week.
I don't think anyone has mentioned this yet but I used this spreadsheet to get my initial offer loan and then had Tesla match it.

"After reviewing your account, it looks like our back office team may have a slight back log they're working through. The case was submitted on our end though to remove the Tow Hitch, please allow our team some time to get that adjusted on your account." via the Chat.
I emailed on Friday afternoon, Advisor requested change on Saturday afternoon and my account is still shows the tow hitch as of this morning. I know they said "request" and 24-48 hours, but I would have thought this would trigger an automated process to re-price my car and generate a new agreement.
Via the Inside Delivery Support email: (a few minutes ago)
"At this time, we do not have insight as to when our factory will be producing vehicles with the tow hitch.
If you would like to remove the tow hitch to receive delivery sooner, please reply to confirm."
I removed it. Also seeing that...
Rate match was successful match of my CU to 2.38% on 72, but they the wrong amount (added a extra $1300 to the loan amount), hopefully it's an easy fix.
I applied for my local CU and Tesla finance. My CU (2.38% 72m) beat Tesla (WF 3.25% 72) by a mile. So I emailed [email protected] with RN in the subject and explained and attached my CU offer. Tesla replied quickly (under 5 minutes) and said I need to contact [email protected] which they...
