Just Bluetooth an engine noise app from your phone to the car stereo and roll down the windows. Definitely will get strange looks from others at the stop light and a comment from your wife that she doesn't know you.....

Same here. My S85 has 53,000+ and is 2 yrs, 5 months old. Same battery. Now we're all jinxed.....

Autopilot seems about the same. The UI for map and music features are far worse. So many things to complain about. Where do I start?

If school was in session and Tesla submitted v8.0 for a grade I'd give it a C-.....at best. The only thing so far that hasn't been cheapened is the autopilot.... Boo

41k miles on my Sept. 2014 MS. I'm finally getting around to taking her in for the 3rd 12.5k checkup.... I wouldn't characterize myself as a "high mileage" driver but I can't wait to drive every day since I got her... ;-)

It seems 3%+ is the going average if I interpret this thread correctly. I'm at 3.4% loss. My 100% started at 265 and is now at 256 with 31,000 miles in 14 months. Of note, my 100% and 90% (233) have been steady for about the last 4 months...

If you get the delivery in 2015, I believe it's a 2015 car.... But you do get the tax benefit on this year's tax return...

As a former LEAF owner (3.5 years) and a current MS owner (1.5 years), I can say with experience that the LEAF's battery is crap...

The trip planner is still awful... The 30 year old FMS computer in the jets I fly are far better than the "constantly changing its mind" trip planner.... I'd flame out half way to my destination if I had this nav junk in the planes...

One year here on 9/30! 23,000 miles with the drive unit replaced at 19,000. By the way, I have the autopilot...

2014 S85, 21k+ miles. 90% = 230, Full = 260

I just had my windshield replaced after a "sizable" piece of debris was kicked up by a truck going the other way. Too much damage to leave the windshield in place. My local Service center did a superb job replacing it....

56224 here. I have all the AP hardware. Built 9/26 thru 9/28, delivered on 9/30....

19k miles and I've got the DU blues. I stopped by my local service center to confirm the "angry mosquito" buzz was indeed cause for a DU replacement.

The top speed definitely needs to be reduced in valet mode. I can't wait to have the autopilot fully implemented so I can recall my car like the Batmobile when some valet driver wants to play around in my Tesla...

I just got back from a 400 mile road trip. I used the TACC thru various terrain, roads and traffic situations. It's much better behaved than the previous version. Although the TACC could still use some more smoothing out. As for following more closely...I think people are nuts that want to...

Why would you want to?

Every one of my v6.1 updates (4 so far) only gave me the option of now or later (24 hours)... Maybe I'm reading it wrong, but I don't think so. Anybody wanna chime in? (Obvious question )

For sure I've had to modify my behavior when it comes to updating my car when I'm away. My biggest issue is just trying to remember to set it. Of note, I had suddenly remembered, to my horror, that on a return flight, my car would be sleeping and upgrading, as I forgot to delay the upgrade...

I fly jets for an on-demand charter company. I get called at all hours. It plays havoc with me on my marriage and now apparently on when my car is "upgrading"... I imagine there is a doctor or two out there with similar concerns...

I'm on .140 now, which is my 4th one hour and forty minute downtime for me... It wouldn't be so bad if I had a normal job, but don't... I hope Tesla gets it right this time......

My two cents: I owned a LEAF for 3.5 years and drove it 45,000 miles. Mine was an early 2011. I guess you could say I was an early adopter. I really enjoyed the car. It never had any issues of any kind....except the range... After more than 3 years of ownership I got tired of the dwindling range...

I had a similar problem with my S85, VIN 56224, with 19" wheels. Squeaky brakes since nearly new. My SC, without hesitation replaced the front rotors. No problems since....
