LR comes with AWD and Dual-Motor. Is it not worth it? I am asking as I am in a similar dilemma and still wondering if I should wait for MY (April order with Apr-June delivery) or get M3 LR AWD DM. 🤔

Let me try to find it. It was by some reporter (last name Akhtar 🤔). Also, I stand corrected that it was 1,000 - 1,500 per month... (a bit too optimistic if it was 10- 15 k :)...sorry about that)

What's your booking date? Looks like Tesla plan to deliver 1,000 - 1,500 cars per month, across Australia (read it online so as not a validated source)so you very well might get your car in May.

I did speak to an SA at local Tesla dealer and he said changing (more like reconfiguring) MY is something they can do but switching MY to M3 is just not possible now and yes, if Tesla lowers their price, no one would want to take over my order. I guess either I bite the bullet and let go $400...

I booked MY RWD in early April but now considering M3 LR AWD. I was told that I will lose the $400 deposit payment if I did that. In the grand scheme of things, it isn't much but wanted to ask if anyone managed to do such a change without losing $400?

I hear you, hence the confusion. That being said, it would be a 'second' car for me so while I would love the extra space and a lot easier to get in/out of the car, I am not sure if I have the patience to wait for months (especially after the test drive 😁).

I booked MY RWD in the first week of April... While M3 LR is available for AU$3k more in NSW, makes me wonder if I should opt for M3LR or bite the bullet and wait for MY RWD 🤔
