    Model X April Deliveries

I got somewhat vague information about if it was in production vs in the queue for production. The website always said it was in the queue but the DS sounded like it was in production. I assume it never made it to production.

    Production delay

Mine was supposed to be delivered Late April / Early May, but the DS told me that it has slipped to Mid-June. Vin 30XX, X90 - Blue, 6 seats, Textile Seats, Winter Package, Towing, Matte Obeche Wood Décor Grrr.

    Model X April Deliveries

I was scheduled for a Late April Early May delivery in Arizona. I just got an email saying to expect it in mid June. Vin 30XX 90D. Sometimes "Tesla Time" really pisses me off. :(

Tesla order page change res # to Model X 00XXXX

Model X : Rear entertainment options

I think most people don't want to mess with storing media on a tablet for the kids AND in the car. We had a year of hanging a portable DVD player, but now my daughter happily plays with her iPad on car trips. Given how few people would want the entertainment system, and that Tesla is really...

How Many Miles On The Vehicle Your Model X Will Replace

2003 Subaru Outback with about 220,000 miles on it. This car has developed a lot of "personality" over the last couple of years and we have our fingers crossed that she'll last the next 6 months.

    Falcon-wing doors in snow

Typically in a regular car, you have to clean the roof before opening or you get chunks falling in (at least this was my experience in a Subaru in Montana). So I always would brush off the driver's side door, get the car started and then grab the scrapper. Then I'd go to town removing the snow...

    Pictures from the X event

The Techcrunch article also mentions there are USB ports available for every row.

New renderings of storage space and 2nd row seats! (9/15)

In my Subaru Outback, I often fold only half the rear seat and can fit the bike inside with it tilted at a 45 degree angle leaning on the rear seat. In this fashion, the kid seat can stay were it is (and my daughter can ride in it). To make this work, I only need to remove the front wheel...

How important is it for you that the 2nd row seats of the Model X are stowable?

My wife and I were discussing this last night and if the second row seats don't store, we won't be buying a Model X. We've been looking forward to getting an electric vehicle for so long now and to find out that something as seemingly obvious as "the seats need to fold down" is going to scuttle...

Dad with teenage son torn over getting Performance versus Standard

Another consideration for dealing with out-of-control teenagers is to give them somewhere they can push boundaries safely. If the son is into cars and wants to go fast, then why not get him some track experience? He'll quickly learn how easy it is to screw up and be off the track and into the...

    Supercharging with trailer

The whole trailer at the super-charger would be a heck of a lot less of an issue if there were just a charging port at the front of the vehicle instead of the back.

    Flagstaff-Phoenix-Flagstaff

Maybe I'm missing something here. Why not drive down to Phoenix, do your flight, then drive to the Scottsdale mall and use the Supercharger at the Tesla Gallery? You'd probably have better options for using the 30 charge time as well. - - - Updated - - - Ah... the Tesla Gallery is not a...

What will MX be cross shopped against?

The X will replace a Subaru Outback. If we weren't going electric, we'd probably buy another Subaru.

    Another Arizonan!

I've been following Tesla for a couple of years and after finally getting my wife down to Phoenix for a test drive, we've put reservation money down on an X. Now we get to wait impatiently.
