You mean the refund of order fee or did you pay for the whole car and looking for refund from tesla? My understanding is that any overpayment to tesla is refunded 2 to 4 weeks after delivery.

Good tip - can you explain how schedule charge works with charge hq for the uninitiated? I plan to use it and have already connected to my inverter but the car has not yet arrived. So any tips to maximise solar charging through charge hq is appreciated.

lol how do you think stevedore unload the car. A vehicle carrier is essentially a multi-level car park that adds a couple of kms from loading and unloading - then there is driving on the parking bay before loading and after unloading, etc.. it all adds up. So its not surprising there are few kms...

I don’t think LCT applies to you if your car is below $84 k. So you can schedule your delivery.

I think you will need to ask Tesla for an updated invoice on or after 1 July to remove the LCT. I have the same specs and plan to do the same

you can specify the delivery centre now if you want - just call/text Tesla to do so. As to your question, I don’t think it does but I could be wrong.

Reading all the posts/rants on this and Y LR thread, it seems like there are a few unfortunate souls (including yours truly) in NSW/ACT with their car on Grand Eagle that belong in one of the following camps: 1) want delivery before EOFY (to benefit from asset write-off rules) 2) want delivery...

That’s disappointing - I suggested that based on my prior experience with performance order. Hopefully, you get an update soon

If I were you, I would call Tesla to find out if you haven’t already. You maybe able to get a delivery appointment through a phone call.

@aliciar who picked his LR last week did a post in the main forum. Australian Model Y Waiting Room re: battery, I reckon it will be the same as MYP which I think has NCA.

Yeah the ports are a bit of a mess although it’s working in my favour as I want July delivery/final invoice to qualify for FTB exemption. Keep us posted with your delivery.

mine was as a straightforward installation (charger on a garage inside wall and the meter/solar inverter is on the outside). I paid $650 from memory.

Yeah Tesla sent me a voucher last week. So ordered it online. Post March built Ys are not coming with free umc but they offer a voucher if your original order was before the change was made (believe it was sometime in July last year)

And also got my free umc this morning!

Are you doing a trade in? That may also affect getting the final invoice. I do have a final invoice which says build date is 24 April

just found this thread. I have LR on order (switched from MYP) and my EDD is still showing as 25 May to 15 June.

Has anyone with a build date of 24/04/2023 received any update on delivery? I am still seeing May 25 to 15 June as EDD. On a positive side note, I received a charging voucher from Tesla as my original order date was 10/06/2022 (switched to LR from MYP).

Interestingly, these two changes are not mutually exclusive. In my humble view, there is a chance both of them will happen although higher chance for the LCT to increase before LR deliveries start.

Do you mean MYP, not LR? I can see plenty of the former in the inventory for NSW but no LR. I was not expecting any movement on LR at least until June.

Thanks - I am only going based on what I was told by an SA when I tried to follow-up my change request. Perhaps, it has to do something with the fact that LR was launched later than RWD and MYP. That said, I hope you are right on VIN assignment being done on the original order date as opposed to...

I am not but my bad. All I meant to say is my SA couldn’t change my order. He had to get it approved. Sounds like yours could.
