I took delivery on 2/11 and my application still shows Pending. The start date shows as 1/30, so not sure how long it will take. My charger rebate is also showing Pending since 1/28. They don't seem to be in much of a hurry pay up :). At least my utility rebate came through after about 1 month.

Correct, the utility only covers the installation portion. ChargeUp NJ provides a $250 rebate on a small set of charger models, but the Tesla charger is not one of them. Also, the Tesla charger is not eligible for the off-peak charging discount. You should be able to claim a tax credit next year...

Did you check into NJ/utility rebates for the charger installation? JCP&L and PSE&G have substantial rebates on the installation but you may limited on the brand of charger. I went with a juicebox to maximize rebates

i waited for a firm delivery date before updating my policy and uploading. Otherwise use the earliest date in you EDD range

Nice summary. I believe that the JCP&L rebate is also up to $1,500 with the same .02 discount for off-peak.

They may have changed the process but soon after I received the VIN in late January, I received the following email that I had to respond to (not sure what would have happened if I ignored it):

In order to claim the 2k rebate, I was emailed a form to sign a few days prior to delivery, from what I remember. Had to fill it out, scan it in and email it back.

I went with the juicebox 48 hardwired. It is eligible for both jcp&l and charge up nj rebates and also for a reduced off-peak rate.

My PA064 was supposedly built on 1/26 (vin assigned 1/27), so yours would be a bit older than that. I got the build date by asking on the 510 number.

Congrats! I just ignored the messages for sending payment through the App. My delivery is scheduled for tomorrow and received another text today requesting payment. I texted back that I will pay with a cashiers check at the delivery and then received a text thanking me for letting them know.

I think that when you reject a vehicle the VIN gets released and your order gets put on hold for some number of days. I think you should be able to login into your Tesla account on a browser and choose the button to remove the hold and then you should get matched with another vehicle.

I'm also in NJ. I got my VIN 1/27 and then was able to schedule on 2/1 and was offered two possible days for delivery, 2/11 or 2/13. Seems a bit slower here, but probably won't be much longer

In the Tesla App, when I view my Registration information it shows the Tesla location. I believe this got set automatically pretty early on
