The only way to play music off of your phone is via the car's bluetooth connection... otherwise another music file option is through the usb port, but that only works with USB flash drives, not phones. Currently there isn't Apple/Android specific music integration. There is no headphone/aux jack...
Unrelated to the seasons, but I gave it a whirl.
The sound of silence.
Can't find that in other cars.
Oh, it drives itself?
Black, white, red and blue.
Silver's there, as well as grey.
Wait, no green and brown?
I've got the update from three days ago. No visible changes to me on the dashboard design, but maybe its because I never had the car too long to begin with.
I happen to be one of these "just missed" people. Based on all my readings before car delivery and after, these "demanders" are irking me.
I'm upset. There's no doubt about it. But the most I will ever do is sulk about it, or maybe vent in a post or two in the thread. But in no way do I think...
Sorry for my ignorance, but will it automatically notify you that there is an update waiting? Or do I have to check somewhere in the UI to see if I have an update?
T-Day was today, seemed busy at 10 am at the Springfield NJ service center. Even some Short Hills store employees were there to help, John/Jon was our delivery introduction guy.
Aren't they loaners? I didn't know that you could remove options from them.
Is option 2 a P85? I'd assume based on the CF spoiler. I guess that's the first thing you should think about- whether you want a P85 or a S85.
If it makes you feel any better about the status change to a generic month, our delivery date is in two days and it just changed to "Late September". And yes, I do have Teslanity.
I am confused with the vin number sequencing with the factory. Are they producing these cars through the sequence of VINs, or is it random?
Our VIN is 52525, finished today, but its impossible to believe that they can get 2000+ vehicles a day.... (with Karmamule's Model S being VIN 50411)
I'm...
Same here---- Our Model S is now under "Production Complete".
Scheduled delivery is in NJ but is on the 25th..... maybe they have different timed trucks going to different areas?
Not pleased to find out that this is how Tesla is speeding up production, as this is what I found after taking delivery today... apparently they desperately need the giga factory to help with the demand...... I wouldn't worry about anything serious though, just don't forget to check the frunk...
So our Allstate agent just emailed us back with an add-car quote (there's supposedly a multi-car discount applied) and our Model S is quoted at 1200 per 6 months.
I have read a few posts around the forums, and since this is such a mixed topic I was just wondering if this was reasonable. If it...
Good idea, I'll ask my delivery specialist then. I definitely have confidence that Tesla would make it right for us, since they have a great track record of customer service. Fingers crossed it arrives in excellent condition.
Thanks birdsaresmarter!
Hi there! Our S85 is scheduled to be delivered late september, but according to NJ laws the car must be paid for in advance of delivery.
So, for those that have already received their cars, I would like to know what someone is to do if a major/minor problem is to be found when we go and pick...
^ Thanks! Quite easy to remember!
Also, Galangg, did your delivery specialist call you, or did you call him/her? We confirmed on June 30 and still have no news from the person we purchased from at Tesla. The only thing we know is "Late September".
Hello there! Please add me to Q3 (Late september) as well!

That's what I though at first. I guess I just got too carried away with his tone by saying "We'll". Hopefully a future upgrade for Model S will be less than the orig. battery price of like 12k. Anyway back to my dreaming while I wait for my delivery.
so with this roadster upgrade.... does that mean *potentially free* upgrades for model S in the future? sorry about not actually talking about the III, but I was awfully curious after reading that part.
Greetings!
Our Model S is expected to arrive in Late September, so hopefully this forum will familiarize me with everything before it comes!
