    So I connected my Android to the Tesla WI-FI 1st, then tried to add the inverter and it finally connected, then came up with the Select a Wi-Fi Network, and scanning turns up nothing. If I enter our Wi-Wi manually, it times out.

    I just tried to connect using my wife's iPhone and got this same result exactly, with our WI-FI router sitting right there next to the phone. With my Android (Samsung 11 I think) I only get SSID Failure so it won't even connect to the inverter.

    Yes the Tesla Wi-Fi is TeslaPV_FF8422, and I can log into the inverter at URL 192.168.92.1. However, the App needs to be connected to the internet right so on my phone I'm connected to my own Wi-Fi which is connected to the internet, then I tried to add the inverter. Am I doing something wrong?

    Yes, 3rd party installers can purchase the inverter from Tesla, and in that case, you are NOT a Tesla customer since you don't have an order in their system and they tell you it is the 3rd Party that needs to register the system, so hopefully your 3rd party installer knows what they are doing...

    I just noticed 2 days ago they updated the App to add an Inverter (in addition to Vehicle, and Powerwall), so maybe a step in the right direction. However, using the APP to scan the QR Code I get the error, "Connect to Gateway access point failed. Invalid network SSID." So I tried manually...
