Tesla does not automatically come with a built-in garage opener - also known as Homelink. It is a huge bummer, but many people have some clever solutions for their garage openers or just eat the $350 for convenience.

The general consensus is if it's coming from Fremont (11th digit is an "F"), it should have matrix/global headlights.

For those who have received their VIN - how long did it take for them to let you schedule delivery? And was that dependent on having insurance information in there? I am trying to get insurance figured out, but I got my VIN on Monday and my EDD is 2/19-2/27.

My VIN indicates my MYLR is coming from Fremont...when I texted the 510 number, they responded saying that my headlights would be "Global" headlights. What does this mean? I assume that's not the matrix?

How good are they with refinancing?

I got a text from the 510 number today telling me to complete my pre delivery tasks. I'm not sure what I'm missing? I am waiting on membership approval from Tower, and I am figuring out insurance today/tomorrow. Is there something else I need to be able to schedule my delivery date? Got my VIN...

My OD was 1/14 and I just got my VIN this morning. Unless something pops into inventory near you (potential of being a reject), you may be waiting a while.

Update!! MYLR W/B/no adds OD: 1/14 EDD: Jan-March EDD: 1/31-2/28 EDD: 2/10-2/24 EDD (on 2/6): 2/17-2/27 VIN (on 2/6): Fremont! Now trying to find insurance -- anyone have good experience with Nationwide or State Farm? I think they will be the two least expensive (in WI).

In what state are you getting full PPF for $2k? Places I've called/most forums say between $4500-$6500 for full PPF (Xpel and 3M).

Anyone in WI planning on PPF for their Model Y? Full body or just the front (and why)? Trying to justify the cost for myself, besides already knowing the paint quality of Teslas.

I think I read that there's adjustable pads on the frunk and trunk to help with gaps? So if they don't fix it, you might be able to try yourself. So sorry this happened!
