Supercharger Hwy 97 thru Central Oregon?

OP - Congrats on the new car! Theres not too many of them here in Central Oregon. I just moved here from Seattle where there were a ton and it's a little sad not seeing them much anymore. I don't have one yet, but plan to hopefully be a future owner of third generation (Model3??) Tesla. Sorry...

Recommendation for Detail Shop and Opti-Coat Pro in Redmond/Bellevue WA area

I'm still in the business, and occasionally still use OptiCoat, but have recently switched over to using a new ceramic coating - BeedsHD - this stuff is amazing and leaves your car feeling much slicker than OptiCoat - IMO; it can also be used on ALL exterior surfaces and many interiors ones too...

How to Custom Make A Bed In A Model S

Really nice mod, I've slept in a few cars over the years for camping or on road trips, but nothing comes even close to this setup. I love seeing cars used for their upmost potential. Pretty sweet!!

    Custom Colors Unavailable :(

Wraps can be a great tool if installed properly. Definitely cheaper than a paint job, way less upkeep, and like others mentioned, the paint is practically brand new when it's eventually taken off - this increasing resale value. BTW, that Matte Cherry Pearl wrap is quite nice I must say, I'm not...

2Qs: Opti-coat Pro and fingerprints, and how to get a "spot free rinse"

A lot of good advice in this thread. The opticoat and coating issue seems to of been covered well, so I'll skip that, but as for the streaking after a wash issue, my personal preference is a spray wax lighty applied on your final dry after using a leaf blower. It works as a great drying agent...

Used LEAF as entry into the EV market?

Thanks again for all the thoughts and suggestions guys. While I love the Model S, it's definitely outside of my budget, especially considering it would be used as a work vehicle. The LEAF seams very practical and ideal for my current situation. The long-term plan as of now is to wait for a Gen3...

Used LEAF as entry into the EV market?

Wow, a lot of responses on a non-Tesla, pretty impressive group here. Thanks a lot! So, I guess I didn't include quite enough info in my original post. -I actually plan to use the car as a work vehicle, and I'm a mobile auto detailer in Seattle, so it essentially need the space of the...

Used LEAF as entry into the EV market?

To start with, I love Tesla and will one day own one, probably a Gen3 as thats what kind of fits with the finances, but I don't want to wait that long with my extremely inefficient ICE (98 ford explorer). I'm thinking of entering the EV world with a used LEAF, probably a 2011 or 2012. I was...

First Road Trip...Seattle to Black Butte Ranch (Central Oregon)

That's an awesome drive and beautiful drive through Detroit Lake and down toward Bend - especially this time of year. Good to know that there were no charging issues. My Tesla is probably still a few years (and there'll probably be more stations by then), but good to know as that's one of our...

Roll-up leather dog paw and luggage scratch protection for rear bumper

Awesome mod! I don't know why these are made for all models of cars that have painted rear bumpers.

Opti Coat Pro or Suntek Wrap (Partial w/total hood coverage)

Wow that is an impressive dust cloud, glad I don't have to worry about that up here in Seattle. I am a big fan of putting Opticoat over whichever PPF you end up with. I don't do films myself, but I do work with OptiCoat and can vouch that it's some pretty good stuff. Very long lasting, resists...

    Gen III - summary

Great info in this thread, I'm newer to the Tesla scene and didn't even know about the Gen3 until reading through this post. Maybe the Gen 3 is really what I'm searching for. Definitely bookmarking this thread!

    Detailers in Philly/suburb area

Not in your area, but it might help you some. The options you listed are definitely all great, it's just a matter of how much you want to put into it. My experience has been that Tesla has softer paint that can scratch and swirl easier than most. A full Xpel will protect the best, but some don't...

    Hello from Kirkland, WA

Hey guys, new member here and potential future new owner of a Tesla, so I figured I'd join the community to learn a little more about the cars to see if they are the right fit for me in the future. I own my own mobile auto detailing shop in the Seattle area and have gotten the privilege to...

Recommendation for Detail Shop and Opti-Coat Pro in Redmond/Bellevue WA area

Hey Jhall118, I just wanted to say thank you for taking the time to post a link to my site and recommend my services on here. I just had a customer mention that he found me through this site, so I searched and found this thread and figured I'd join to personally say thanks. I know that I'm...
