    Error notification -Service required

Hey all - trying to figure out a new alert that came up on the dashboard. It reads, “Service is required - use mobile app to schedule service”. If you go to the notifications pop up on the main screen it lists an error code GTW_w026. I can’t find any information about this error code anywhere...

Model S Roof Rack - Panoramic Roof

I might be interested. I saw a comment that these will fit Gen1 cars. I am guessing this would be compatible with a 2014 Model S w/ Pano, can you confirm?

    TPMS reset on V10

It's fixed!!!!!!!! My software was updated yesterday and today I found that the TPMS reset button has returned. I clicked it and about 10min later I got notification that the reset was successful. Now the TPMS notification is gone. So happy to have this fixed. BTW - I have a 2014 Model S...

    TPMS reset on V10

Has anyone had any luck actually getting this fixed at a service center? It sounds like several people have tried, but I'm not reading that anyone has successfully fixed this problem. I don't want to waste a bunch of time w/ the service center if it can't be fixed, especially since my car is...

    TPMS reset on V10

@kizamybute' - As others have noted, nothing has been changed on my part. I have the same tires, with the same sensors that worked several months ago. The only change is that we have had a software "upgrade". I think it is unacceptable that the only available fix is to make an appointment at...

    TPMS reset on V10

This does not work for many of the older cars with generation 1 sensors. It has been tried several times with out success. I am guessing it works for the cars w/ generation 2 TPMS monitors (vin after 50500 or somewhere around that).

    TPMS reset on V10

So I think some people are confused between the generation 1 and 2 sensors. From my understanding the generation 2 monitor and sensors don't need any resetting, the system will do it automatically. With the generation 1 system (the one that doesn't even notify you of what pressure each tire...

    TPMS reset on V10

I wouldn't mind officially complaining about this issue to Tesla as it may have been an oversight for those of us w/ older cars and TPMS, but I am not sure where to aim the complaint. Any thoughts? I am already tired of seeing the constant TPMS malfunction warning on the dash.

    TPMS reset on V10

I'm having the same problem. I swapped out summer tires for my winter ones and can no longer find the TPMS reset option. Not sure why it isn't available, I have used it many times. Anyone come up w a solution other than bring it to the dealer?

    Supercharger - Las Vegas, NM

Last week we travelled from Colorado Springs to Angel Fire, NM. We started out at 98%. It was predicted that we would cruise in with roughly zero miles left, not a buffer that I was comfortable with given that the car was packed with my wife and 2 kids. We charged for a little over an hour at...

    220V Garage preparation - cost?

Getting one installed tomorrow for $570 in Cincinnati. It was probably the most simple install ever, it is on the same wall as the breaker box (I am renting, so I really couldn't do the job myself).

Did any of you order your Tesla sight unseen?

Yep, purchased prior to ever seeing one (although I have a pretty good excuse as I was stationed in Japan at the time).

    Detailing of car before delivery

I am expecting a car in Sept and made the same request. Tesla sent me a release form which I completed, so it seems like there is a process.

    New Grey for Model S

Does anyone know when this went/goes live? I am planning on receiving my grey car in September. When I click on the link to review my design details, it just lists "metallic grey".

    50K, nearly there

I have been patiently waiting for my vin, keeping my fingers crossed hoping that it might be the magic 50K car. I was assigned my vin today 49799. So close! Oh well, at least Tesla and everyone associated can celebrate the fact that the 50K car will be here soon.
