Thats the one that did it. 2022.8.10.6 Id recommend not updating or at least documenting it for personal reasons. Not sure what we would be able to do at point. Since a settlement and well out of warranty.

After above update, I lost about 4-5% charing capacity. I have had info on my teslafi confirmed it also.

Well this fix is more of a bandaid. Got almost all of the range back. But this drain gate is unreal! I loose 5-10 miles of range, or 1.5 to 2 kWh loss a day. But sure it's fixed.

Run as far as you can from Tesla. We 85KWH 2012-2015 have been dealing with this crap. I sold my car, best thing I ever did. No they wont extend your warranty if anything they will nerf your battery so they wont have to replace it again. Unless it fits under the lemon law in your state then...

Funny thing is that they admin to it, nut then state that this settlement is no admittance on Tesla's part, huh haha Lawyer talk got me thinking to never sue anyone unless its only me and not class action. So could we technically not take this settlement and sue them individually?

Well maybe it should have been clear at sale. Now a days with a slow chargegate charging i can be in the spot for almost 3 hours so kinda is a parking spot now.
