While driving home from the factory Friday I stopped at the Gilroy super charger to check it out. I noticed about 4 chargers with front drive in slots but they were all marked reserved. Are these for Tesla employees or for public use? The others with back in slots were not marked reserved...

yes, not legal but taking a chance... only did 75% on the front. I have had 35% on the Mercedes S for years and never been bothered. New wheels are to be here tomorrow... they are 21" Forgiato black center and chromed edges.

mine actually came off very easy... maybe because it was only installed for ½ a day. I pulled it off when I arrived home before they added the photosync window tinting... then just lightly reattached for now.

Ok... I was just informed this morning I need a cashiers check as well... This is what I was told... for deliveries happening this close to the end of the month we would need a cashier’s check.

I was told a cashiers check, personal check or bank transfer... I am bringing a personal check... but mine is a 3 year lease... maybe that makes a difference??

WOW! They are quick when they want to be at the Tesla factory... My S when into production on Friday and showed up as completed this morning...:eek: Also confirmed pick up car followed by a tour on Friday. Car will be done early but can get out of business plans in SF the day before :crying...

WOW!!! They must work on weekends now... our car went into production on Friday and this morning it changed to Production Complete, Your Model S is being prepared for pickup or delivery. Can't wait for pick up day!!! They offered for us to pick up early but unfortunately we have to be in SF...

agreed... I am sure they will incorporate features like these when they know they will work properly and not before.

Not sure if anyone mentioned it but you need to have your seat belt on if you are going to move around in your seat... otherwise it will shift into park.... sorry ... couldn't resist.

My current daily driver is a SL63 AMG Mercedes... It has most if not all of the safety features mentioned in this post. My other cars do not. If it were offered in the Tesla when I ordered mine... even if it were an option, I would have gladly purchase it. They have saved me many times over...

Have an S on order... pick up in a little more than a week... Just added my name to the wait list for the X as well.

also replacing a Mercedes S with the Tesla Model S P85+... moving the S to the coast as a spare car when there. Still have an SL63 AMG... hard to say goodbye to this one...

also confirmed on May 6, 2014... delivery set for 6/27 to be picked up at the Fremont factory... guessing it will go into production 4 or 5 days before delivery?? That would put build start at 6/22... 6 days to go if I am correct...

10 day countdown begins tomorrow... passed a brand new black P85+ on the way home from work tonight... followed for a while to get a quick fix... can't wait

Maybe contact your local air quality control district if you have one... ours in California is pretty active in helping ev owners... they even give you a check after you purchase an ev. Maybe they can put a little pressure on the condo board...
