Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

As a shareholder since 2014 and a regular reader of these pages, I too am slightly discombobulated by the current state of play. Hear me out here - this is just a suggestion for your thoughts It seems the major concern for all EV companies now is demand as all the low-hanging fruit may have...

Bought shares in 2014; even most probably older than you; had endless cars; engineer etc I think my comment valid! For you this was even smugger than usual - deserves a snotklap! If you go back through my postings, you’ll know that I believe Tesla’s strength is assessing risk/ data and knowing...

As along term lurker and a share holder, I watch the current turmoil with some distress and interest! It seems that the narrow range has not helped the sales or perception of Tesla - it has always felt dangerous to me to rely on virtually one model in a few variations and colours. As other car...

We invested in Tesla in 2013/14 and have continued to add shares over the years. Most of these later investments are now under water while Tesla has been trading down or sideways for a long time now. Despite feeling a little discombobulated by this upheaval, we still have faith in the...

Recently I have read a number of comments on how 'rubbish/disappointing' the EQS is which surprised me as all the reviews I've seen of it rave about it as the best luxury EV available. Please enlighten me as to its failings! Thanks

Maybe the drop in share price is more driven by the predictions by 'those who should know' that 2024 will only see a YOY increase of around 20%? The share price is supported to an extent by perceived big growth? Also growth in revenue may be flat over 2024 - I don't know, I'm clutching at straws...

Owning a BMW i3 for 6 years has convinced me that 'suicide doors' are a disaster and practically unuseable. They drive us crazy.... Just getting people or things in and out of the back seat is mission impossible - unless you have about 10 feet clear. They may look cool but I hate them with a...

Slightly OT but relevant to Tesla long term. I like many others would love a Cybertruck but as many have pointed out it is TOO big for most countries. The 'standard' size smaller trucks which sell like hot cakes in other countries (incl Europe) happen to be almost exactly 5% smaller (length...

As a long-term investor, I have found the Cybertruck reveal to be fascinating. After reading and watching as much as possible, it throws up some thoughts. Clearly the CT is next step for Tesla and opens the door to future products pursuing a more sophisticated path. The previous models were...

We drive a 6 year old BWM i3. It has thermo-plastic body panels which clean up as new still. Surely Tesla must have looked at this? I believe the primary problem with the i3 was the time and complication of the carbon-fibre and body panels Any thoughts on this?

I think the Highland upgrade was great but a bit 'disappointing' technically. I feel the Cybertruck is a technical tour--de-force I just hope that the Juniper upgrade for the MY has brake and steer by wire; 48/800v; 4WS(?); Highland looks (or better/changed); better perceived quality That...

We’re talking drag coefficient so frontal area not relevant. The drag coefficient for the Cybertruck is higher than the Rivian!? But the Rivian will have less drag. I can only assume that aerodynamic efficiency does not like sharp edges!?

As an interested Tesla invested outsider, I'm surprised by the pricing reactions. At the original reveal I just thought that's wishful thinking! A Cybertruck for MY pricing - be realistic. In the end the only valid parameter is comparative pricing with what's available NOW But I agree it was...
