    1,000,000 Tesla sold

What do you base that on? By the end of last year they had delivered just over 900 000 according to my calculations and by the fact that they use to deliver by far most cars in the last month in the quarter I don’t they have reach it yet. I would be happy to be shown that I’m wrong but would...

    Towing hitch available in Europe

Now Tesla have added towing hitch for Model 3 that will manage 910 kg. For some reason it’s not available in US at all. It’s also not possible to order with Performance, maybe because of the 20” rims.

CCS Charging options for Model 3

The reson that Model 3 can't charge on a normal supercharger in Europe is that Tesla isn't using the Typ2 standard on there supercharger. They have made a modification to the Typ2 standard so that the pins is longer and a larger area can have contact between the car and the cable. It would...

Blog Tesla to Reduce Interior Options for Model S and Model X

And it when't worse then I had hoped, the panoramic roof you could open and have roof rack on is gone, child seats is gone and textile seat is gone. To compensate for better standard seat they also rise the price a bit. Carbon fiber is now also only for P100D. Be happy that they still have 75D...

    Mid Range charging speed.

We need to look at the voltage and amps separately I think. For what I have read 75 kWh battery packs in Model S and X barely comes over 100 kW and as I have understand it the reson for 75 kWh battery gets lower power then 100 kWh battery in Model S and X is that it have lower voltage on the...

    AWD range since last charge

If you don’t pre cool your car before you start driving the car will use a lot of energy to cool down In the beginning, the opposite in winter. If you would have continued and drived let’s say 150 miles your average consumption would most likely have dropped.

    AWD range since last charge

The front motor on AWD isn’t as efficient as the rear motor so it’s not only the weight that makes the car less efficient.

When will there be more Model 3 on the road vs Model X?

Here Insideevs have but together a chart of the 10 best selling EVs all time. As you can see Model 3 is already on place 8 and will pass Nissan leaf now in august. It will probably take until september before Model 3 passes Model X and maybe Ford Fuison on the same time.

I just saw that the service plans for Model S and X have been changed, is this something that have happened just lately or have I missed it? Now service 1, 3 and 2,4 is exactly the same and you don’t need to change the battery coolant until 8 years or 100k miles. As you can’t see the price...

The reason for that is that Model 3 is mush more energy efficient, if you compared kW it should be the same in a Model S 100D and a Model 3 LR. @blincoln have gather some data from user of his website abetterrouteplanner.com and a Model 3 charge close to 120 kW up to about 120 kW. Tesla...

    Model 3 pricing and competition

You should know that there is still some difference between WLTP and EPA And I think that I have read that Kona with 64 kWh battery will have a EPA range around 250 miles so little better then Model 3 SR. You have to take in to consideration the usability of CCS chargerers, how many member...

Standard Battery should be available in 6-9 months. Will it require premium interior ?

Think it this way, in the beginning of 2016 Tesla said that there battery price on pack level was less then $190/kWh, lets say it’s $150/kWh now. If the short range Model 3 have a battery with 25 kWh less capacity it means that it cost about $3750 less to built but Tesla will get $9000 less. If...

Even if you don’t trust Bloombergs number, according to Tesla’s own numbers they had produce about 40k by the end of Q2 and they had registered up to VIN 62557 the first July.
