2022 Model Y Performance Rear Ended, totaled?

Exactly. A pickup. Traffic stopped suddenly, we escaped between some Jersey barriers and stopped safely. Then got hit when someone did the same thing.

2022 Model Y Performance Rear Ended, totaled?

We’re all physically sore and mentally shaken but ok. My (24 yo) daughter got a nasty seatbelt burn and my wife got popped in the mouth with her ipad but it coulda been much much worse.

800 mile 0 degree road trip

I’m originally from Millsboro. I spend a few weeks a year back home. We just decided that we’ll drive the Y back home next summer… 3600 mile trip + all the rummaging around the peninsula .

800 mile 0 degree road trip

I used it for most of the trip. Once we were south of CO Springs we were mostly clear of snow on the roads.

It seemed fine. Note I haven’t done too much supercharging before this. Mostly at home. But we got halfway through a movie on the trip :)

800 mile 0 degree road trip

I was stupid and didn’t hit the trip reset before I left. I know between charges it was quite high though. Mid to sometimes upper 300s. I’m in the mid 200s here in ft worth while we’re in the 50s. I’m also not doing a lot of highway driving either. Some but not all of it is like it was for the...

800 mile 0 degree road trip

First big road trip so small sample size, tough to say. It’s my first time in chill mode though. Now that I’m here and in 50s temperatures, I’m hovering in the mid to upper 200s. Was mid 300s for much of the drive out in crazy cold weather.

800 mile 0 degree road trip

I understood. I don’t have any inside information what the software takes into account. All I can tell you is that we were within a few percentage points…

Yeah, it was pretty much spot on. 3 percent plus or minus.

800 mile 0 degree road trip

We just took a 800 mile road trip from Denver to Ft Worth in our new Model Y Performance. It was the easiest trip we’ve ever done… Love me some electric road tripping. The temp when we left was 0. We did get up to 14 the first day in New Mexico. A balmy 30 by the time we got to Ft Worth. Left...
