What happens if you have an accident? Do you have to Opti-Coat the whole car again or can you just do the repair area? Probably a good idea to let your insurance company know so that you are covered.

I don't think you will see the 2016 Volt or the Bolt in Australia. Holden must be questioning the non success of the Volt in Oz. Nissan must also be asking the same questions.

A fast charger at home is a nice thing to have but the average person drives around 50km per day. Single phase 16 amps (which is what I have) is about 3.5 hours of charging while you are asleep. It would be interesting to find out what daily kms everyone on this Australian forum would average.

I have a 2012 Prius and my wife has a 2012 Prius C. Probably trade them both in on a Volt for my wife. I would consider a Leaf but battery degradation and range is an issue. The Model S is a big investment for me but I am worth it!

I'm not getting my hopes up for Christmas delivery. My car still needs to get across to Perth. I think January is more realistic, but maybe Father Christmas will put in an extra effort!!

I'm in production now as from 3 days ago. I got an email from Tim Ellis which said delivery in December but stated that "it’s normal for delivery timing to shift as we update our production schedule and source parts to create your custom-designed Model S."

I also got a call and took the option of delivery with no service centre. Hope to have the car before Christmas.
