Things feel pretty quiet. I do get the feeling that V12 is going to have to get merged into the current branch ASAP if they are going to actually offer an FSD trial to everyone. I know a number of folks that are on 2024.8.x and obviously have read about the opportunity and wonder about it...

I do wonder how the robotaxi is going to impact FSD. I mean a $25k car with (by definition) FSD? Am I right?

You haven't seen my garage! It just seems like an obvious thing it should be able to do, especially if you have it linked up to your garage door opener. Just sayin' auto-park and summon should include one's own garage!

So for MS/MX cars, is there any way to select which parking space you want it to auto park in? I know on the other cars where the FDS is on the touch screen you can just touch which one you want it to use. But it wasn't obvious if there was a moral equivalent on the S or X

I suspect they don't need to do that much any more. I imagine they are going to do most of the work training/testing in the dojo, and just validate in the cars. In other words They can compare what they see in th real world with what they trained/tested and that's your A/B testing

If you get the update, don't forget to check for map updates afterwards. I am getting mine now after I got the holiday update installed yesterday. Maps going from 2023.20 -> 2023.44 (> 2x better!)

While I am waiting, someone with the update and a model s - could you tell me how the park assist manifests? I assume it would be on the instrumentation cluster where you can't do the cool perspective interaction to see stuff?
