I tried installing older firmware and it wouldn't take with the firmware update tool.
Tesla didn't want the "broken" universal wall connector back and told me to send it to e-waste.
I'm tempted to wait and see if a firmware update fixes these issues and saves this thing from going to waste...
Update: after switching to Compatibility mode, the charger worked with the F150 and the Bolt. I switched back to "All vehicles" and it still seems to work. Same firmware version throughout.
No idea what's going on. It seems like Tesla can see the device on their side, so perhaps they changed...
Thanks for the suggestion. I will try the Chat feature, which wasn't apparent in the Tesla App or their website. I have seen it before but always outside of the available hours.
I still haven't heard back on any of the emails. A proper ticketing system would at least let me know that my request...

Once you navigate to the troubleshooting page for wall connectors, you'll find these options:
I didn't see a Universal Wall Connector, so I select Gen 3.
Now, which problem do I select since none of them accurately describe the problem?

So using the tape trick, I separated the adapter from the Tesla Universal Wall Connector and tried it on another, functioning Universal Wall Connector.
It worked, which leads me to believe it is not the adapter itself. Still at a loss for how to get in touch with Tesla about this.
I seem to be having the same issue after installing my Tesla Universal Wall Connector yesterday. The included J1772 adapter does not work.
The LED on the Tesla UWC is green when plugging into a non-Tesla vehicle. The Lightning instrument cluster shows that it is plugged in but "Charging station...
