This is dumb. I love all these things yet I still love my Model S. I like cars that are fun to drive, period. And the Model S is VERY fun to drive :)

I wouldn't do it. That'll get old after a while. You might want to consider getting the Wall Connector which has a longer cable and can reach around the car if moving the power source isn't an option.

I didn't buy a car with 443lb-ft of torque to worry about tire life...

It's happened to me as well...thought something was wrong with the car until I put my seatbelt on!

Looks good! One thing I would add is the yacht floor, adds completeness to the interior. With the recent price drop it is at least now a somewhat sane option. I also love the hi-fi sound, but if you're a talk radio kind of guy then you won't miss it.

Columbia is a bit far from me, but I used to go to the S2k meet ups down in Va Beach. I have attended events at Hylton HS in Woodbridge, VA and in Winchester. They also have events in Frederick and Waldorf.

I frequent Capitol Driving Club autocrosses in my S2000. Be very cool to see a few Teslas out there!
