Alright! The MYLR has landed. 13 days from VIN to acceptance at our SC. 11 days from leaving Fresno. Fit and finish is very nice. It has been a 7 1/2 month journey. We are happy now. Recommend the wire transfer for accelerating the process.

Are you trading in? Curious to know if that might be delaying the EDD because of your crazy pushback. The word is that Tesla is trying to maximize 1st quarter deliveries, so low hanging fruit. But you are right there in their backyard. I would call my SA.

Yesterday, 6/18 the "schedule delivery" text came with 6/26 circled and an explanation that the date may be revised earlier or later depending on arrival at our SC. And when we tried to return a call from our SC we were only able to reach Fresno. Seems to me they try to micromanage the SC's.

Update: Text received this am saying our MYLR has left the plant! Seems unusual we could go from 6/13 VIN to 6/15 wire transfer to 6/16 shipment. Got lucky I guess.

Followup 24 hours later, mostly for Texas buyers: sure enough, the Tesla app progresses to a Final Payment page after insurance info is submitted. Then it gets tricky. They really do everything they can to force one to use their Plaid utility. For the life of me I could not find the wire...

OK, so the deal here in Texas is we pay in California, before they will ship as I understand. Someone mentioned the pay button on the app turns green. Just wondering if that is our next step. Guess we'll find out this afternoon after sending the pic of the insurance doc.

This cannot be happening! Our EDD's seem to get moved on Saturdays. If we get the December bump this week I will just have to get a different life...just forget Tesla and move on, as they say.

I bet they know it...the white with black interior MYLR is pretty clearly cursed. And it seems that GigaTexas OTOH may have only black interiors. Of course they are selling a different version Y. We would only settle for it with a white interior here in the desert.

And which interior are you getting? Suspecting unavailability of the black/white interior over here at GigaTexas as area-wide offers of accelerated delivery expand...all black.

That's the point, not fixed. Looks to me like the lense is set too low, therefore the gap to tailgate is too wide.

Does anyone use a folding windscreen sunshield? I see lots of talk about tints but only an occasional mention of how a protector spoils the "look." We in the US desert southwest who park outside much of the time are in the habit of using them. I have seen no recommended brands.
