I’m not sure there are any restrictions on how long you have to keep the car. Delaying the order isn’t suitable as I won’t need the car in future. Just weighing up options!

We're waiting on a motorhome too, which was ordered early Sept. It was due in March... and now we're told maybe October. Ho hum. I bet they all bloody arrive at once.

It was 19-30 June, then it changed to 'May' over the weekend, and now just blank (but still May on the website). The second order is still Aug-Oct 2022. I don't hold out too much hope for an imminent delivery, but it's not the end of the world. It'll come when it's ready.

Did that all happen today? From nothing this morning, to VIN and collection confirmed? I wonder if that was a vehicle that was assigned to someone else, but they couldn't take it for whatever reason.

I just looked on 3M's site for info about VHB 5925F. It says: "Creates a permanent seal against water, moisture and more"

Helpful info! Did you find any real difference between the supplied tape already in situ and the 3M tape you added? My understanding is that VHB is waterproof, so I would've thought it could cope with water.

I wonder if there's a correlation between EDD and finance. Could it be that those holding steady are cash and those being delayed are financed? I can see why a business might want to prioritise cash up front orders.

Ordered 4th April, MYLR/White/Black/20s EDD May-June for a while. Then it narrowed to 18-30 June. A few days ago it narrowed further to 25-30 June. It’s been holding steady, but I expect a delay is imminent.

Sounds like a good plan. The more areas in contact and bonded, the more likely it will hold. I have some VHB kicking around, so I'll likely do the same.
