Oh and my car came with hankook Tires. Not Michelin, but oh well. They ride well enough (not that I have a direct back to back comparison with a model 3 on Michelins to really have objective conclusion)

I had a phone call with the SA prior to delivery date - they wanted to confirm I’m good for the appointment. At that point i casually asked when the car was built and he told me. They have it in their system.

Received my 2382xx with matrix headlamps today. As others have pointed out, seems to be more correlated with manufacture date and not VIN. The vin sequence isn’t completely chronological apparently…

Graduated today as well! 2382xx built on apr 21 and had matrix lights and mobile connector. Car was good shape, found one small paint chip, and the white trim piece across the dash was not installed right, but that’s an easy fix. Makes the vent not blow air properly.

What was the vin range / manufacture date? LR / SR / performance?

Popped by delivery centre today, SA said my car is in Chicago still, so might be 1-2 weeks to deliver to Toronto / customs / inspections. Maybe I’ll stop checking the app for 2 weeks and just wait for a text / email…..yeah right.

I’m in the same boat too. I do have a trade in and noticed only today that the trade in expired on the 4th and needed to reassess with updated odometer reading. Hope those 2 days that I didn’t notice didn’t cause them to assign my VIN to someone else…. Because I don’t see it in the source...

Agreed. These poor SAs being bombarded by TMC waiting room members hahaha. I don’t message my SA often, but somehow every time I ask something, within 2-3 days a change happens to my EDD.

Mine is 238xxx. Yeah seems like we have slightly older builds. But don’t worry, seems like the newer builds are the ones with old headlights. We may be in luck.

Hmm it’s interesting. Playing with the configurator now, changing to 19” does reduce estimated wait time regardless of colour. But changing it to not white or MSM but with 18” also brings down to the same EDD. White or black interior doesn’t make any difference. This is for the LR.

Welp, another white interior got pushed back. New EDD today is May 15 - June 12. Previously was 2 week window April 29 - May 12

Tons of people use the mobile charger with a 14-30 / 14-50 plug and can charge sufficiently fast for their needs. It’s not about being cheap. Some people have a single 240V cable run into a garage and maybe have 2 EVs using two different types of chargers.
