Tesla text says my car will arrive in Colorado on the 13th, then a couple days to Aurora and a couple days prep. FWIW

My date just moved back to the 9th-14th from 13th-17th. It shipped on Sunday, so perhaps it has arrived, however it is impossible to find a number that connects you to the Aurora Tesla. Everything seems to route you back to Tesla call center 🥺

Just got a text that my vehicle has left the factory!!

Tesla in Aurora did call me yesterday to verify I was ready for delivery, however he did say the vehicle had not left California yet.

About time! Hopefully they move you back to my truck and not the other way around!!

I tried to call the Littleton Tesla today and was routed to the call center. Nice person, said my car had not yet shipped, delivery window 6/10-6/14. Said I am getting A/S tires and new processor. Biggest surprise was she said my delivery center is now at the Aurora Tesla. I did not even know...

I received no email when I got a vin, but I did get a text.

I have never called an SA. Just ordered online on 2/16 and keep watching others who ordered the same car a month or more after me get their car. Perhaps I should start calling for an update on a daily basis…hmmm.

Really isn’t the entire problem Tesla’s business model? You know, delivery the most they can per quarter and make the most highly profitable cars quicker. If they were a people oriented company they would try to be as fair as supply supports and once they made and shipped a car give you more...

I am still going with the Hertz theory, it has been said That Tesla was not going to let Hertz “jump the line” ahead of other Tesla orders, but if they are the only ones getting this new model then the did not jump any lines and they can make their 100k cars first.

You are absolutely correct. It is however the nature of humans to want to get what other people are getting. I will take whatever they give me, but I would much prefer if Tesla used up old stock first, then add the new to the production line. I think there would be much less angst if that...

Perhaps they will be coming out with the MYP with the new battery out of Austin in the near future. If you have your order on hold you should keep it there! (I will let you know when to take the hold off, it will be right after I take delivery of mine, 😂)

I am in Colorado also with similar timeline and order. Every time your days have changed so have mine to nearly the same times…so maybe Colorado will all get them at the same time!

My SA made mention back in March “if my car did not come in in March then it would not arrive until after mid April.” Did not think much about that at the time.

We are probably just moving to later dates so Hertz can get theirs by the end of April, but of course Tesla said that they would not give them priority, and they always do what they say, so I guess that is a bad hypothesis.
