Are any of y’all having issues with WiFi connecting? I’ve already made sure that my phone only connects to the wall charger but it keeps failing up update the charger via phone with the WiFi error. Going to the charger website directly shows that the charger is connected to WiFi.

I I’ve had to ask the Tesla rep directly. They initially said they would put my order on an 8 day hold and the release it but have since gone back on that so I’ll have to keep the 22’ vin number.

Interesting and congratulations. Do you mind sharing the build date? It would be weirder if your build date was recent since we were both assigned a 2022 vin around the same time.

Checked with another person at Tesla and they said that it was likely waiting on parts at the Austin factory and that vehicles leaving Fremont leave immediately by train vs by truck from Austin so there are more logistics involved. Either way going to check it out on the 19th. If it looks good...

Order date was march 2022.

That would be reassuring if that was the case. My concern I guess is if these were rejects.

Very odd. I wonder, if a vehicle is rejected by a customer does that car go back to the plant?

Thats what I was concerned about. They said it’s just due to a bunch of vehicles being mfg’d. I do have the vin, but have noticed people leaving part of the vin number out. Which part is essential to share? Thanks!

Any issues tinting with the rear defroster lines? I’ve read that the model 3 had some issues with tinting the rear.

Decided to switch to MYP as well. EDD had been sitting at August - October (after being pushed back from a two week window early July) as the MYLR, so we will see if it changes at all.

For owners with the MYP, the 18" with 245/50R18's look to be about 1" lower in overall height than stock (275/35/R21) according to the "tire size" website, is this correct? Any significant impact on the speedometer reading? I'm assuming there would be no other issues outside of the speedometer...

For anyone who tinted the windshield: does the Model Y have the same concerns as the Model 3 where the computers are in the A-pillars, and there is risk of damage during a tint installation from the liquid used? Thanks!

My understanding is the rear hatch window doesn't have IR rejection for heat? That would be my desire for tinting the already darkened window.

Ordered with FSD. Initial EDD was May 2022, now it has updated to Sept 1 - Oct 27th. Hope it updates to a sooner date once the VIN has been assigned.
