Just got my VIN text: 250xxx with updated EDD 5/28-6/1

Guess I jinxed myself. Scheduled the Carvana pickup and applied for financing yesterday (I knew it was a risk without a VIN but wanted to try to lock in a rate before they go up) and my EDD got pushed a week.

Woke up to a 2 week window but no VIN. Anyone had issues with cancelling their trade in? Or selling with Carvana? They’re offering more to buy my trade in which is over what the sales tax discount would be.

Mine said the same and asked where I had seen they were being removed. I pointed to the website and twitter. He said he would have an answer Monday evening.

The basic online quotes for my 2017 Mazda MX-5 RF from both Carmax and Carvana are about $1500-$2000 less than what Tesla has quoted for the TI. Granted, that's just a basic quote without seeing the car. I've got some time though, so I'll be keeping a close watch on the options.
