Everytime I look a blue tesla, I do feel a tinge of regret not splurging more and get the blue/white combination. Best colour combo IMHO.

yeah, but once you put in anything with the word "Tesla" on it, the price multiplied like crazy. That $0.05 air vent was sold from anywhere from $6 to $30 odd. Same with anything else, a car trash can (generic) can be double priced with "Tesla" logo emblazoned on it.

I just need something I can negotiate with the loan company - My loan expires on the 18th of this month, if I get some EDD or something, they might be willing to extend the expiry date... hopefully... on hindsight, jumping the gun and schedule my loan straight on the day of ordering the tesla...

My Mrs is the same with the Ice. We fill up in Costco which is around 10ish KM from our place (fuel price is cheaper there), and she would only fill up when the car is at under 15-20 KM... I would hyperventilate if this is the case, while she would just be relaxed and say there's always the back...

Thanks Mate. make sense - so just follow the instruction, as an extra 15-20 mins of charging may only add unnecessary time and not worth it for trip efficiency. The EV etiquette is also something I am researching on, as it will be my first EV, and in this instance ignorance is not bliss :P

For what it's worth, I filled in my rego form and the next day the delivery date moved forward by a week (was 10-20 sept, now 3-17). That being said, I am not convinced the change was due to the completed form though.

The other thing I am trying to find out as well is how much for installation - that price is only for the towbar I think, not including installation. I did hear you may be able to install it yourself (no drilling, etc) but I don't have a lot of confidence in doing that level of self installation...

yep, confirmed at 11:59, hence no VIN yet. I have a feeling for the Eastern side, it's a cut off of 30 mins, 10:15 was when the order opened and VIN today is capped at 10:45. Well, this is completely based on my assumption and finger in the air though.

Someone on Whirlpool said there seems to be a cutout for the eastern side of 11AM, people who ordered before 11AM got the VINs already, but WA is excluded from this for whatever reason.
