I was specifically referring to the MYP, I think those are around 3 months wait, but yes I understand MYLR is a much longer wait. I would say most of the MY I saw today at Renton Tesla were MYP, although I didn’t take a deep look at whether they were 20 inch or 21 inch wheels.

I'm an always glass half full type of guy, so if you want hopium, there were TONS of Model Ys as the Renton SC and they mentioned they're getting semi-trucks filled with Model Ys non-stop at least for the next week. If you have a 2/10 EDD, I imagine, you should get one as early as April, if not May!

Just got my Tesla MYP with 21 inch uberturbines, and this and many other threads on TMC got me REALLY worried about ride comfort and I have to say these worries were completely unfounded. Coming from a 2018 Honda CRV EX-L, I would say the MYP is on par or slightly worse (but negligible) coming...

Can confirm, was just at the Renton Tesla and its overflowing with Model Ys, the Tesla SA who helped me said they are going to be very busy, said they're receiving 10+ semi truck loads of Model Ys a day for the past week.

Just picked up the car (MYP)and it’s beautiful! In fact I was worried that the driving would be rough due to many saying the suspension was bad but honestly it was perfect coming from a Honda CRV. Though I would share! Also does this mean I have the FSD package? I never paid for FSD.

Maybe west coast thing, I switched from LR to P and got VIN in under a week and scheduled pickup for 3/30 (in Seattle).

Buddy just texted me seeing a truckload of teslas heading north (this was taken on I-5 N at the Federal Way exit). Thought I would share for those waiting on delivery!

Just call the SC and ask what comes with the VIN, not sure the rhyme or reason, but sounds like it comes as factory default features sometimes, sometimes not.

You can trade-in a leased car? Didn’t think you could this. In any sense, if you can trade-in, you can’t trade-in early. Tesla won’t accept it until you pick-up your new vehicle.

Hang in there as long as you’re given two week windows (which you are) it means you’re close!

If you have the same EDD then your VIN should be coming real soon as well!

Order date was 12/29, but originally ordered MYLR before switching to MYP last week on 3/20. No text, just logged into app and saw I had a VIN and the app wanted me to allow Bluetooth. See above.

Not yet, but my EDD has yet to change, so I’m sitting in my first day of delivery window. Dreading that this will be pushed back by a week, so I’m opening and closing the app non-stop right now.

You guys are lucky, Tesla gave us a quote for $1K to install the wall connector, we did independent quotes and lowest we saw was $900 in the Seattle, WA area.

Also unlike having a baby, you don't get insurance that will cover 90% of the costs!

I did this, and you get moved to where you would've been at in the MYP queue, had you ordered the MYP in the first place.

Yes, my guess is it’s only a matter of time before Tesla closes this loophole, for some this will work and for others they might be potentially stuck with FSD they didn’t want.

It would be impossible to know what the scale is, if I had to guess only a small cohort of the overall queue, but it is happening and it does affect everyone waiting and they don’t necessarily need to be on TMC.

As far as I know people are still doing this up to yesterday.

Letting people know that if you have a MYLR, your EDD is getting delayed by people cutting to the front of the line who add FSD and remove it immediately after getting a VIN. This means that people are waiting less than half the time you are currently now waiting and more so the longer you have...

Those are most likely MY SR AWD based on their EPA certification, unfortunately.
