Just realized; if everything goes well this Friday and I take delivery, from OD to delivery, mine would be about 53 days. That’s way lower than average recently, correct? I can’t even complain about being impatient then!

I was told from my SA for my pickup in Minneapolis that “since I’m buying/pickup in the Midwest regions, I get PPF and mud flaps”, and if they’re not already installed at delivery, then I get a credit from Tesla to get them done at a local Tesla service shop.

That seems odd. Are you guys also getting mud flaps and PPF?

I see palm trees, so it wouldn’t be getting all seasons :D

What was your VIN? I basically have high hopes because I’ve seen many almost perfect 400 VINs (which mine is), but I’m nervous to show up and see lots of issues!

You’re declining a 393? That could be a bad decision honestly. If that 393 doesn’t have everything, then it’s because you’re in a region where you don’t normally get AS tires or mud flaps/PPF. What all was missing?

This wouldn’t be the performance. I believe this would be a “Standard Range +” version of the Y like the Model 3.

Random question; for people that have rode around in both a Model 3 and Y, are the seats/cabin in the front actually noticeably roomier? Or does sitting in the front feel like the same size?

There’s no true equation or rhyme/reason. I’ll tell you this though, I’m assuming you’ll get a 400 VIN for yours by end of the week.

It’s taking mine a week or more longer than yours to get to Minnesota, but we got VIN’d the same day! Hoping mine arrives quicker than it’s assumed. The waiting game patience is REAL! Haha

That’s wild. My M3 SR+ about a month ago was $41k at CarMax and $34k at Tesla…so I went with CarMax ahead of time!

If all goes to plan on delivery date, mine will be just under 60 days for a black on black MYP, no FSD, no tow, midwest pickup.

I honestly want to say VINs go by the build; meaning, I think the black on black (like mine) and others like mine that have gotten theirs lately are 400 like mine, but different colors and combos are basically “396” then different numbers. If that makes sense? Lol Almost like they make a bunch...

Random question; does Autopilot (not actual FSD) stop at lights and such? Or would it just zoom right by a red light if no car was in front of you to make it stop? I never tried anything in city on my M3 in fear haha.

SA called me about third party lender stuff to confirm for delivery, and told me ETA to delivery location is 3/22. Has anyone ever gotten an earlier arrival, or are they normally spot on? They said I should get my delivery date text to set that up this week some time. We just need to plan it out...

Ours might be on the same rail car from Fremont! :) They normally go through Chicago then split to all different parts over on this side of the country. Mine is going north to Minneapolis, yours going south!
