Meant to post this on here as well after my install last month and completely forgot. I used a "well nut" too and no issues (my Jack nut came deformed too right out of the box so it went straight to the trash).

When you say pre 2019, would the 2019 version that still had the mesh top but added the foam underneath work? Not sure if possible to cut the hole in the foam similar to how you cut the metal or if it is somehow attached to the mesh. You can even see the hole outline on the foam (see picture).

Congrats on the VIN! Call Tesla and ask them to change to 3rd party financing and the MVPA will update once they do that. You'll need the updated MVPA to get past initial approval through 3rd party, they won't accept the one that says you are paying cash. Doubt Tesla will match any rates but GL!
