In Europe M3 is equiped with 1ph ICCB 3,6kW to charge a 72kWh Battery in 20h. With a S or X ICCB, M3 charges in 6,6h. Who can explain and understand, why AC-Mode 2 is restricted and DC is doubble now? Specialy Premium Vehicles must have a Option for 3ph Charging!

Tesla does not pay licence to ACP since Roadster 500, because they used Tesla technology with an isolated charger to accus. ACP reductive charger has grid potential at the accus that is a protection issue. So Tesla should never go back to reductive charger.

It is no tecnical problem, it is an organisational one, The boss, who is also a friend of mine, does not care about this problem and has not yet determind a responable one to care.

Mode 1, 1ph 16A max. is anymore a regular charging mode. Some countrys do not allow mode 1 at all.

I have a quotaiton of the tecnologie leader for wireless Charging for a 5kW Demonstator and upgrade for 22kW. It is cheaper than a 22kW onboard charger and do not need a plug, is 3ph on Offboard and my college is convener of IEC Wireless charging focus group.
