If you haven’t been bumped to 2024.x I think there’s a good chance of at least some getting moved to v12 over the weekend. Tesla has no reason to stall deployment until a safety issue is discovered. This likely won’t happen until more cars have it anyways.

Was wondering why this was weirdly written. What the AI message is trying to get across simply is that, the NN has been training on many “things” moving towards the car’s cameras, it knows what to do when that is happening. If something unknown moves towards the car it’s going to recognize it...

They’ll probably do a 11.3.3 that’s updated for 2023. Whether that’s the reason for the pause is anyone’s guess. It’s also possible they’re not bothering merging the changes in because they’re going to release V11 to the base software fleet.

Looks like I have an update pending, I certain it's 10.69.2.2 but can't check until I'm back to my car.

Could the PB and hesitancy be due to FSD's "knobs?" It seems like phantom breaking came back hard in 10.69 which makes me think they are adding that on purpose for the new networks. For me overall, FSD is amazing when it acts with confidence, seems like they could just relax some tolerances...

Any model s refresh owners noticing the audio system sounds different (worse) after the update? I can't put my finger on what sounds wrong but it's very obviously different, family noticed it as well.

I'm normally pretty bullish on FSD but this release has been really disappointing. On my incredibly short 1.5 mile commute home FSD: Tried to run 2 clearly red lights (no greens in view of the cameras) Took a full 10 seconds to reach 29mph after each of the 5 stop signs. Veered into the bike...

It probably depends on your car's location as well. If you're in an area with less FSD cars you're more likely to get it sooner.

I'm not sure the part number. According to the catalog it comes as one piece with the screen.

Yup, the tilting arm is sticking out if you look from the passenger side.

Just did the manual screen tilt. Interestingly, the trim piece that is supposed to hide the internals when titled is missing on my December 2021 plaid. Contacted my service center about ordering one.

Anyone notice that highway AP is pretty different since upgrading to this version? It does things a lot more comfortably now. Like giving trucks extra room when passing, not jerking into the middle after a merge and generally slowing down earlier for cars and curves.

I think the biggest issue is it's almost processing things TOO fast. Humans have a reaction time whereas FSD is always making small adjustments to decisions. It does jerky maneuvers for minute details we would plan ahead for or make one larger subtle corrective measure. Maybe a memory issue as...

My biggest issue right now with the beta is left turns. It loves to floor it through the intersection and cut the turn really hard. Almost slammed into a center median and had to take over.

Where was it said we needed >100 autopilot miles? I was always under the impression it was just 100 normal driving miles. Also noticing a trend in this thread, we all seem to have opted out and back in fairly recently. Is there anyone who didn't get it, good safety score, and hasn't opted out...

I mean, pressure has always been mounting to get this system out. From saying "L5 this year" every year since 2015, to waymo/other companies, hell, an entire political candidate is running on the platform that FSD sucks. When they find a decent release that doesn't have a horrible morbid bug...

I'm hopeful it's new cars. It seems weird to tweet that it's going to existing cars given that the entire current FSD fleet is on 10.12.2 according to TeslaFi. Also, no one was asking about existing cars lol.

People check your app! In the past, safety scores have disappeared from the app just before getting let into the beta, see if yours in gone. Mine is still there for the time being.
