I think this issue is severely overblown. I have a June 2019 LR M3 with over 40k miles on the clock and it has never had an issue with the 12v battery. Come to think of it, I haven’t had a single issue with anything on this car. It’s been rock solid.

Just curious if the refresh Model S fob works with Model 3/Y now. I know the pre-refresh fobs did not - but it seems like the refresh fobs are added through a similar process as 3/Y Bluetooth fobs are now. Can someone with a refresh S try adding the fob to a 3/Y and see if it works?

FWIW that seems like a pretty old vin. I was assigned a vin on Dec 2nd for a 2022 M3P that ends in NF1246xx. Almost 40k cars were produced between the two. Again, not that it matters much, just an additional data point.
