Both are nice designs. I could either way. But I suggest gloss or candy black over matte all day. Forged is always a win reducing weight (mileage) and improving their strength to damage. But you obviously pay a premium. Satin/matte aren’t bad finishes but one thing to note is that black wheels...

Agreed. Personally I go gloss over matte as the carbon blends together the same as a black ABS piece.

This is false info and a myth. PPF and the application process is not destructive. Bad films, installers, and poor paint/clear coat quality are the problem. Tesla does have _some_ paint quality control issues but it can be corrected. And that's Tesla's fault, not the PPF. Lol

Got some heavy rain yesterday in Chicago/burbs. My wipers were going absolutely bat sh*t. Had to turn them off multiple times because they wouldn't chill. 22 M3P on v2021.35.102.2.

This is the one of the things I wouldn’t go direct to China. Things like carbon body kits is when it’s worth considering more seriously.

Anyone have any tips on getting carbon pieces mounted to these sliding doors? The clearance is small. Got it on taped overly well and it was horrible getting it off after I found I can’t get it to open. Had inch wide 3M on it for more surface area to stick but apparently it’s thicker so...

Follow up - HRE let me know that the Flow Form FF01s are not available for Model 3. I'm guessing that if someone has them it is one of their actual forged wheels which is wildly more expensive.

Just ordered these. But for an M3P it’s easier to get 19s and clear the brake vs some aggressive offset sizing with 18s. Stock Aero 18s definitely do not fit. Tires wise I suggest Continental for winter. It’s the ONLY tire of Conti I would ever recommend. Their all season and performance are...

Just full front and rear fender behind wheel. Full is honestly not worth it. Especially with the aerodynamics of the car. If you do a lip kit or have a performance with the trunk lip I would suggest getting it on those just in case. Did that plus ceramic/paint correction.

This. Unless aggressive spacers which I doubt. If there was an issue, it would effect all of their flow form wheels since they have common sizing across them. Not likely with HRE.

Definitely agree here. But! The Performance should have merited more improvements. It’s wild they don’t have the carbon option for it.

Only issue so far and it’s minor is that the wipers auto sensing could be more sensitive. Rain had to get going more than expected before it kicked in.
