That’s fascinating. What a bizarre correlation.

    Inflated values

Model S seems like a 70k car not a 100k one. But hey - the market seems to say otherwise. Maybe driving a refreshed model would change my mind.

    Inflated values

I do have a car to sell, but 20% or 30% inflation on my car doesn’t equal as much of a raw increase. I guess I’d have to come to terms with the situation. It’s painful to think a year ago I could have a brand new model S for 70k.

2021 Model S Long Range Refreshed 400 miles

    Wow, that's an insane benefit.

    Inflated values

I did a thing...not sure how accurate this is, but I subscribed to Level 4 access on EV-CPO and exported historical sales from 2019 pre-pandemic. I looked at 2015 cars (4 years old at the time) to see how things shake out. Looks like on average, a 4 year old Tesla today is about $20k more than...

    Inflated values

I think Y and 3 are ugly tbh. S is no Porsche but it’s at least more of a sports car than a fridge on wheels.

    Inflated values

Check EV-CPO. All the used Teslas are 70k or more for the most part.

From Tesla. 43k. All features other than FSD. It has Sub Zero, AP3 etc.

    Inflated values

Not sure if there is a way to pin this down - but thought I’d get some opinions. If I buy a 2017 S100D for $69k - is that going to totally burn me after this craziness passes? I guess what I’m saying - should this car really be $55 or $60k? Hard to get a handle on just how inflated things are...

    Model S winter range

It seems like 30 to 40% range loss is mentioned. If my budget was unlimited I would get a 2021 for the heat pump, but it’s really not worth it to me to spend 20 or $25,000 more for that feature. I can’t help but feel for those of us in cold climates the range of today’s batteries just isn’t...

    Model S winter range

I'm hoping some of you that live in cold temps can help me out. I'm considering a 2017/2018 100D, which according to Tesla should give me 335 miles of range. I can charge at home and don't routinely have long drives. Several times a year though I have to travel approximately 210 miles from...

Considering Model S vs Porsche Panamera

Thanks for all the feedback guys. I keep looking for posts or anyone who regrets their Tesla purchase. I searched here and Reddit - couldn’t find one. And we know people love to complain. That’s definitely making me lean toward a Tesla.

    Detailed explanation of all options

I'm in the Northeast, was hoping for Subzero package. I'm on the fence about FSD, was planning on trying the car without and then subscribing if I care about it/it improves.

    Detailed explanation of all options

Hey guys - I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on a 2017/2018 Model S, 100D. I'm visiting EV-CPO daily and trying to find the right car. I don't want to goof something up and leave out a feature I find important. Is there a definitive guide I could reference that tells me what optoins were...

No Model S Test drives until Q4

My local dealer said call after January, but probably nothing until beginning of 2nd quarter.

Model S 2019 Performance "Raven" question

I'm trying to figure out how anyone is selling their Model S anywhere near $90k when you can get a brand new one for the same price. What am I missing?

Considering Model S vs Porsche Panamera

I do have a garage and would be able to get a charger installed. Interesting thought on the new S vs. used. A 2021 LR w/ FSD is $100k. I can get a 2017 or 2018 100D for high 70s. Decisions decisions.

Considering Model S vs Porsche Panamera

Thanks @JADCa. I don't expect you to have your finger on the pulse of all current Panamera's, but would your sentiment be the same if we were talking about the 4S model with no EV component at all? Also, I'm in upstate NY...so range loss in the winter will be something to contend with. Does...

Considering Model S vs Porsche Panamera

Thanks for the feedback. The Panamera is primarily an ICE vehicle. It can do 15-20 miles on electric. I love technology which is probably the greatest draw for the Model S. Auto pilot and the in car infotainment just seems to be something head and shoulders better than the competition. I’m...

Considering Model S vs Porsche Panamera

I'm on the fence about a 2017/2018 Panamera E-Hybrid or a 2017ish Model S. I've driven the Panamera - it's a wonderful car. Handles great - electric when you want, sexy V6 Porsche exhaust note when you want. Obviously fit and finish is 10/10. I've only driven a Model S once, and it was a...
