I believe you are wrong. The target market for the Model E currently has no options from Tesla. I don't drive a Model S because I can't afford one. Therefore MS, and MX for that matter, are not an option for me. Those who can afford MS would have two options, yes, but those who can't have none.

This, with AWD and perhaps raised a bit (or affordable air suspension), I'd buy in a heartbeat!
