I was on 106 and had the 108 update yesterday late morning. Not sure if you should be concerned. I did an 80 mile trip on 106 without any issues before I updated to 108.

Installed this morning. Gone for a couple drives since then. If not for the UI changes I wouldn't really notice anything different. Biggest complaint.... The date is not displayed anywhere. When the top icon bar goes invisible, the calendar icon goes with it so the date is lost. Sigh...

They have 75 days to send the checks. Both times I applied it took nearly the entire 75 days, so be patient.

We have a Model S and a Smart ED. My main issue is that the Smart just doesn't have enough range for my daily commute (70 miles), but it is terrific for around town short commutes like shopping, movies, dinner, etc. Even so, I would still prefer a second car with longer range to share the daily...

The lady at the place I went to said that they were required to drive the car into the inspection area. It was the first Tesla she had seen, so I was a bit nervous turning it over, but she did fine. She did let me back it out.

I wish I could give you some of my unused miles. We got ours to be an extra, around town car for my wife and the mileage shows it. Right now about 3000 miles after 7 months. I do like it though, so I can understand how someone can put a lot of miles on it.

Delivered today. Immediately took it to Wheel Dynamix in Natick, MA to have Xpel applied to the front. This is the Model S in front of their shop.

It doesn't look like they have delivered the rest of the equipment. Maybe that is the holdup.

Is putting the sensor in the bottom grill going to put a crimp in any license plate solution other than drilling into the nosecone? I was planning to use the one from Torklift, but it doesn't look like it will work with the new sensor location.

Looks like construction has started. A trench, for power I assume, has been dug from one side of the parking lot to the place where the charging stations will be. Plus, there are Tesla boxes!!

My delivery date has changed from Oct 17 to October.

My wife and I are doing the same thing in the opposite order. We leased our Smart ForTwo ED in June and will take delivery of our Tesla in October. We are also hoping that the Model 3 will be available by the time the lease is up on the Smart.

I got that status and am still 7 weeks out from my delivery date. I'm just guessing that it is marking a point where absolutely no more changes are allowed to the order. Otherwise, probably meaningless. Or perhaps it is Tesla's way of answering the complaints that they don't give us enough...

I applied and was approved in 12 days. However, it can take up to 75 days after approval for the check to be sent. Looking at the mor-ev site, no checks have been issued yet. So don't plan to get the check very quickly.

I used to take my car to Direct Tire in Natick all the time. Tire swaps in the fall/spring and regular oil changes/tire rotations. I would recommend them for any of that. Mine was an older Porsche and they always had higher end cars in there so I am pretty sure they know how to deal with them.

Me too. Currently leasing a car that doesn't run out until November, so my preferred date is October.

How long do you think it will take to pay out on 744 cars. A couple months, maybe three?

I actually just changed the preference to October. My current car is on a lease until around the end of November (last payment the end of October) and I didn't want to do too many months where I had double payments. So even if it comes in early October I should be okay.
