I think you are right. In this example pic, the dash mounted light switch is the frunk button +ve Obviously add an inline fuse between 12v battery and the 30 before the relay

Ah so your frunk led button light doesn’t work anymore due to some issue related to the grey and orange wires but frunk actuator wire is fine since your frunk still closes by pressing it?
