Well, I accepted delivery even though there were some very obvious quality issues, hopefully the service appt will fix it

Now my account page is showing a 500, still no vin email though, definitely feels that they are not prioritizing local at all since many people in other parts of CA have ordered later and gotten their vins edit: its back up, no change to EDD 8/26 - 9/03

congrats! I got excited and checked and my EDD ended up moving backwards T_T 8/26 - 9/03 now, coming up on 5 weeks now, starting to lose hope..

A complete profile is with financing complete as well, basically everything up to "insurance and agreements". I would advise to just put cash for now, and switch to financing when you have vin, this way you don't have to hard credit pull potentially twice and you will still have a complete...

My SA said have a complete profile until your vin is assigned, and then you can complete financing, should easily be able to complete that before actual delivery

I'm seeing an average like about 30-40 days to vin and a couple days added to that for delivery. IF you dont mind spending the $100 you can always just place the order, and cancel the car that arrives later

remember that your trade in value only lasts for 30 days, there is a possibility when its time to do trade in your value goes down. We were going to do Tesla trade in route then saw the auction prices declining on secondary market, so we decided to sell our car to vroom instead (1.5k more too)...

from what I gathered here, EDD is not accurate.. at all. Everything is a crap shoot until a VIN is actually assigned in the words of my delivery specialist: "The EDD is accurate until it isn't"

My thoughts were - Range difference is not life changing - MUCH faster - better resale value - I liked the value of the package especially bigger brakes, those always cost so much I plan to take mine to autocross / track when I get the chance as well

I have an Alfa Romeo 4C and am waiting for the M3P to arrive, can't wait to have completely different sets of experiences in the garage

I honestly think they are doing some updates to the delivery estimate or their system is down and they are basically showing the EDD on the "order" page, hoping this will go back to normal soon.
