Is it true that Dashcam feature is only available for AP 2.5 not for AP 2.0? I got the update, created a folder “TeslaCam” on a USB drive, plugged it into the USB port, but can’t seem to locate the Dashcam feature. Any help will be appreciated.

Happened to me on first attempt, presumably because I unlocked the doors twice to retrieve something. Second attempt took leaving the update process to run its course and it worked. Please try again and let it do its own thing.

You should be able to hard-wire it to the spare port behind the grill above the rear view mirror. I successfully did installed dashcams on both of Model S. Here are some links: Blackvue DR650GW-2CH Install Dash Cam There are bunch out on Youtube. Hope it helps.

I have had the same issue with the front parking Sensors. Mine only works intermittently, most of the time it thinks there is a vehicle/car in front. Just like OP I take it is a minor annoyance but will bring it up to the SC on my next visit. BTW: I have never had this problem with my 2013 S85...

I had the like kind damage on my MS 100 D and the detailer at SC was able to buff it out. But then again, if the damage is deeper than just superficial that might not work. However, at the minimum by approaching the SC he can get some expert advise.

So sorry to see the damage to your baby. If the damage is not deep to the metal, it should buff out. Try taking it to your Service Center and the detailer might able to help you or at the minimum provide you with some expert advice.

I do not have 360 degree coverage, you are correct that Typical dashcam solution does not provide 360 degree coverage. But then again, one has to make a choice between good probability versus No probability of catching the culprit. But to all there own.

Don't necessarily have to have wifi all data is stored on micro sd card in the dashcam.

I had the same issue couple of weeks ago with both key fobs. Paid a visit to my SC, got the battery replaced in my regular key fob, got the latest firmware upgrade and haven't had the problem since, even with the second fob with old battery.
