This never worked for me and I tried everything. Taking out the filter was the only way. I’ll eventually get around to ordering the new part but for now the drop in ac filter has been the solution.

So far so good and zero smell. We've had a number of rainy days here in NJ since I did this so it was definitely the hepa for me.

Agreed track mode is noticeably stiffer with much better handling. Are the track pack brakes you are referring to the ones from tesla or Unplugged?

Overall, I really like the car. I had a terrible smell from the Hepa but that's now been resolved. Had many high horsepower cars, M5, E63S, Modified 911 turbo, etc. but the speed of the plaid never gets old! Call it a one trick pony, who cares, it puts a huge smile on my face all the time...

How did you get them to do it for no charge?

That's interesting. I actually had tesla mobile come out and change the cabin filter and clean the evaporator. He basically took a can of ac cleaner and sprayed it up into the housing of where he removed the filter. He then ran the air for 10 minutes until it was dry. Needless to say, it...

Whoa!!! Looks great! I have same tint in 20% sides and rear and thought that was dark! Already got pulled over and ticketed once for tint. I can’t imagine how many times I’d be pulled over with 15 on the sides and rear and 55 on the windshield!

Telsa has been making these crap lights for years with zero change. I can’t imagine they would not have a relatively simple plug and play kit for current model s owners. 🤞 There’s a lot of money to be made as I’m sure many owners would upgrade…..but who knows what the hell Tesla is planning?

Yeah, I’ve heard about these issues. I’m constantly putting on the high beams bc I can’t see anything with these *sugar* headlights. This is what I get when I buy Tesla’s flagship car…the worst headlights out of their entire fleet. 👎🏻

I have the ps4 AS running on custom 20 signature wheels and they are pretty noisy. Night and day from the stock 19s that came with my plaid in terms of noise. However, they grip well and are much needed for the crap weather here in nj. Aside from the noise they are excellent tires.

I could careless about the charge port and taillights. However the headlights on my plaid suck and I hope to upgrade them when they are available. Hopefully, that will be possible and not cost 5k!

How did you attach the video for service request? On the app it doesn’t allow you to post videos. Only photos. Did you figure out the problem?

I bought new 20s from Jaime and since there are no winter set ups that will fit the stock 19s, I’m going to run the new wheels with pilot sport all season 4 all year. Now I can run the sweet set up of the new wheels all year round. Excited to get them installed next week!

Did you originally have summer tires? I ordered my car with 19s hoping I could get all seasons for the winter months. I was originally told my plaid would have all seasons bc I’m located in nj/ny. My first scheduled service is next week and unfortunately Tesla said no to the swap.

Weird. I’ve heard mixed reviews. Some say they are awesome, others not so great. I also wonder why Tesla wouldn’t have incredible lighting especially for the flagship plaid. Nothing will ever compare to my benz led lights.

That sucks. I have a plaid on order. I have a ‘19 mb E63s with led lighting package and they are incredible. Crap headlights on this car could be a deal breaker for me.

Did you figure out a good electrician. I am in the same boat live in Northern NJ and wasted time with Sure electric.
