yes you can, however mine got returned since Tesla never submitted the registration, so then DMV could not process this against a car not registered!

I took delivery 9/9, still no plates, Tesla center actually called me 11/19 telling me they need to resubmit the dmv paperwork, my guess is they lost it although claiming it was submitted when I previously asked.. so I went back in to sign everything again, no doubt the plates will now arrive...

Fully agree with you, just seemed strange to me that so many owners are replacing for damage compared to other vehicles. Will not stop me recommending the car, I still think it's great :)

Just curious, I found the statement above amazing :) I also live in SoCal, Irvine to be specific and would not have said we have perfect roads! especially the freeways. I agree the Orange County roads city roads not to bad but the majority of SoCal is not that good..

To be clear, the picture I posted was not of missing push pins, I am missing two bolts and the nut clips on both sides. These would have been removed by somebody for some reason, likely to do with transporting I guess, and then they are to lazy to put them back in

Wow, just saw this thread, thought I was just unlucky.. the scratches underneath and missing bolts plus one push pin on my MYP. Like in the picture but both side. I booked a service appointment but will likely just fix myself, obviously some poor QC at delivery
