This would make sense if we could trust Tesla to improve features in a timely manner. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if they consider this “done” and leave it as is for months to years.

If you set the Plaid to Sport it literally turns into an LR outside of a bit more weight (disables third motor) so you can feel the difference :)

To me it only really makes sense if it functions as a proper gaming computer where I have the same library as back home and I can easily load a cloud save to resume while stopped somewhere. As a write this for example I am waiting to pick somebody up and my Astroneer save is waiting for me back...

See if you can take delivery and then come back when they have the seats. I personally would rather have a torn seat for 2 weeks than no car at all.

I judge this company by how they treat their customers when they're in a position like this. It's one thing to push customer satisfaction when you're desperately clawing for survival. It's another when you're on top. Don't forget - not prioritizing the customer is why a lot of us dislike OEMs...

My December 11 - December 31 estimate is holding. I pray delivery happens soon. I sold my 3 back in July expecting a September delivery. If it jumps back a couple months AGAIN I am going to be extremely disappointed.

There’s a reason why these trade in sites are giving such good offers. Because they can turn around and sell it in 2 days for multiple thousand more.

I used OnlyUsedTesla and sold within a day for a grand over asking price. Strongly recommend the price of admission. You’ll make that much back and much more by private party selling over carvana.

Well that’s why I said “but a lot less effective” :) It works on the exact same principle as far as I know? Someone correct me if I’m wrong.

Anybody else have opinions on the noise reduction yet? How would you compare it to other noise cancelling such as in Bose headphones or AirPods? I would assume it would feel much the same but a lot less effective.

PPF is just too much IMO and I am not skilled enough to do it myself. There's no way I will lose $2k-$5k in resale over paint chips.

Wow! A fix for an engineering issue! I would have never expected this from Tesla! But in all seriousness I think this is the first time I have heard of this actually being resolved! I will refer to this thread if I have the same issue.
