New tires impressions - Falken Azenis FK10 235/35ZR20

I'm curious if they'll get noisier as you put more mileage on them. Had that experience with several tires on my past cars. I recently switched my PZeros to Bridgestone Potenza Sports which are grippier and seem more rigid during cornering. However, I'm somewhat expecting them to get noisier as...

Best tint % for rear window M3

If I'm understanding correctly, you don't want to see any differentiation between the factory tint and the tint you're putting on the rear window? Does that also mean you don't want to see a gradient-like transition? If so, I'm not sure that's possible since whatever tint you end up with will...

What tires should I replace my OEM ones with?

I just ordered the Potenza Sports from Costco. They're sold out of everything else (OEM size) with no ETAs. I was targeting the PS AS4s for its tread life.

Why do people always park next to me?

I'm convinced most people are just sh*tty drivers and actually use other people's cars as parking guides to get into the stall straight since they can't readily see the lines on the ground.

Traded my M3P for an RS3 - My thoughts on both cars for what it's worth

I'm with you on this too. Had an 11 STi hatch which I loved but chose not to mod because of all the grenading and issues owners were having with Subaru. I also don't ever envision going back to ICE.

    RPM Tesla Experience

I bought the front grill mesh cover. No issues with the shipping, the product itself nor the installation; it did what it was supposed to do. That being said, you still have to clean the grill of all the little leaves, sticks and rocks that get caught up in its honeycomb structure.

    EV newbie with Teslaesque questions

Normally, I would do such a thing. It just slipped my mind this time for some reason. Ultimately, I got the insurance down to a reasonable amount by bundling it with my home insurance which is something I also should've done years prior but just never got around to doing.

    Mobile connector or wall connector

Yes, the receptacle is 14-50 hence why I need a Tesla 14-50 adapter. Like I mentioned, I'm re-using this receptacle from a prior, non-Tesla EV where its native plug was 14-50 as opposed to installing a Wall Connector or new, 14-30 receptacle. Am I understanding you both correctly?

    Mobile connector or wall connector

Just want to clarify I'm not using an extension cord with multiple NEMA adapters/gender benders/pigtails. I have an existing 30A dedicated charging circuit that I used for my first, non-Tesla EV. I continue to use this circuit with my Tesla MC and Tesla 14-50 NEMA adapter. You're all correct in...

    Mobile connector or wall connector

You can also go with a non-Tesla option. Plenty of 3rd party companies that make quality L2 home charging systems and I doubt you'll have to wait. My home setup uses the mobile charger since it was included with the car last year. I already had a NEMA 14-50 circuit installed in my garage for a...

    Model 3 Tint (pictures?)

I tint my cars because it's quite sunny and hot here and the tint makes a big difference. I've got Formula One Pinnacle ceramic at 35% all around minus the roof window. I've got a clear 70% UV film on the windshield too. Paid about $800.

Pirelli P Zero Tires Good / Bad?

I'm running them on my stock ubers pushing close to 17k miles. They're just meh compared to other tires I've had on other cars. Pros: Decently quiet, looks nice, 'stretched' look (if you like that), it's OEM. Cons: Worst rim protection ever (you need to be VERY slow and careful on chunky...

    Rim Damage

You should really look into those wheel repair guys, especially the mobile ones. They'll come to your house and do it. All they need is some space for their jack and a power outlet. They did two of my uberturbines (worse than yours) for $220 and you can't even tell where the damage was.

What is the best way to address this slow tire leak on my Model 3

I'd address the immediate leak by checking with any of the local repair shops, service stations, etc. that use plug kits. I have the Safety Seal kit and just plugged one of my tires that had a pretty big bolt in it. Took me 10 minutes and a pair of good pliers.

Is it a problem if my Tesla Wall Connector uses a different wi-fi (wifi) network?

I would say the TWC and/or your car will still report charging problems through their respective uplinks to the Internet. For example, if charging is interrupted, your car will report that and your phone will get the notification through your normal wifi network. If the TWC also reports this...

18” Ev01+ (fast ev) wheels on performance model 3 - how’s the wh/mile? Are you getting the efficiency close to the long range?

I think you should allocate that money you're planning on spending on rims/tires towards an at-home L2 charger. That would eliminate your need to constantly find a supercharger and range anxiety. Also, you don't have to go with Tesla's Wall Connector; plenty of 3rd party solutions that will work...

M3 Tint question - windows but not roof. Any regrets?

I did 35% all around including the entire back window but did not tint the roof. It doesn't look weird from inside the car. I do not have any issues with heat from the roof. I'd say the majority of the heat comes from the windshield where I have a clear, 70% UV blocking film.

Finally ready to get my dream car… need advice

My experiences with phantom braking have nearly always occurred under Autopilot, non-FSD (many confuse AP being synonymous with FSD; AP is basically adaptive cruise control). On 2 occasions, the braking was a result of road conditions; exiting the use of a 'zipper lane' and another driver...

Tesla denied warranty for Upper control arms because of Aftermarket Suspension

This is precisely the reason I chose not to modify my STi with a Cobb Accessport. Both flashed and stock cars were grenading their engines but modifying the ECU would totally give Subaru grounds for denying any warranty claim. At this point, I'd just go MPP. Pay to play the mod game.
