So no one has reached out to me. Have a VIN, MVPA all that and notified late yesterday delivery for 8/20 - 8/24. No email or phone call today from my SC. Do they usually call, text, email to arrange delivery? I can try calling them Monday but anytime I’ve ever tried before they never answer...
Today was a good day… got a VIN today. I had EDD 8/31 - 9/12 this morning and mid day received an email to pay in full. Checked my account and found this. Very narrow pickup window considering Tesla is closed on Sunday. Any idea if they will let me pickup two days later on 8/26? Pickup...
Chicago Auto Pros (Glenview) quoted me $12k for Xpel stealth full wrap, 9k for non matte finish. If you find one that is more reasonable would love to know.
Well that is where things got interesting. I ordered these thinking the car was coming in March and that these would fit according to the pre-refresh specs.
It turns out the lug pattern is the same and from what I understand if I order tires (245/45ZR19) that fit these rims in a square...
This is great news. Seems like dates are being allocated according to actual order dates rather than the randomness we have been seeing until now. Hopefully you will see a VIN very soon. Keep us posted.
I ordered on the same date.k
Which location did you visit? I went to the showroom in the Gold Coast but they didn’t have much information. My pickup will be in Highland Park but I’ve never been there and anytime I’ve ever tried to call no one Answers the phone at that location.
I'm really struggling to understand how new LR orders can be delayed to Feb/March. The stated annual production capacity is 100,000 for the Model S/X line. A little over 2,000 were produced last quarter. I highly doubt that Plaid orders have the demand to take up this type of production...
I chose 19” wheels and immediately ordered aftermarket wheels. Many options out there and 21” low profile tires don’t do well in Midwest winters prone to damage from potholes.
I’m with you on this. I ordered 3rd party wheels in February when I thought I was receiving my car in March as was originally stated. Based on my research and speaking to a local body shop the bolt pattern for the wheels has not changed. From what I understand and have been told a square...
Hi everyone. Been following for a few months, first time poster. 1st time Tesla buyer, excited to say the least.
I ordered the 19" Tempest wheels because Chicago winters are brutal with potholes. Since my initial delivery estimate was March I worked with a local Tesla certified bodyshop to...
