    2.9.154 is here. With Spotify!

I thinkk this version is complimentary to Tesla early bird owners only  I guess they will roll this out pretty fast - several owners have reported to get this update at the same time, around one hour ago.

Anyone using their Roadster as a commuter car?

Yep! Commuting is about 115 miles each way. However, not every day now, but down to three times a week. Of course, with such distances you have to have faster charging than 10A or 16A - there simply isn't enough hours in a day to charge.

    Charging Error 981

No problem here. Keep in mind you must stick to quality cords with proper diameter only. Too much resistance or unstraightened cords (loops) may cause melted cords.

    UK Long Range Charging Network

Extremely cool! I haven't managed to get the 70A public HPC confirmed, but there seems to be two HPCs in Norway: * 48A in Våler - here: Ladestasjoner.no: Norsk Trafikksenter 2, VÃ¥lerbanen * 70A in Hamar - here: Ladestasjoner.no: Eidsiva Teslalader, Hamar

    Heated Headlamps

I have been experiencing temperatures down to -35C with my Roadster, and this kind of frosting is seen on every car here, Roadster or not. What I use is a simple plastic scrape to remove the frost. Frost will settle during few hours if car is parked under the open sky. You can avoid the frost...

    45 Minute quick charge?

Norway seems to test new charging stations on some major road corridors. Specs are 400V/63A/43kW. From december 2009, all new charging stations in Oslo will be based on the new Ensto charging station - click for more pictures. Currently, the specs say 16A/240V - but the ctation is prepared...

Charging the Roadster - EU Style

Doug, seems like you caught my Roadster in the second frame just a few hundred meters from where Obama is tonight. Where did you get that pic? (edit) I found it on Flickr :)

    Roadster 2 iPod dock

The EU version with the Blaupunkt doesn't have the iPod docking. Instead, it features a standard USB reader. The USB cable shows up in the same spot as the iPod cable.

    Winter Tires?

Ben, that could easily be true. Even when driving on dry roads, acceleration isn't even in the same league as it was before changing to winter tires. Well, the concept of living in countries where the sun is visible from zero to 5 hours a day means you have to sacrifice... I guess it's a good...

    Winter Tires?

BTW, I got an email from Tesla about a week ago telling me to update the firmware when I change back to summer tires. Don't know why, though. Alex@Tesla writes: "Due to the innovative nature of your Roadster the firmware will require an update when you change back to Summer Tyres. We would ask...

    Winter Tires?

Good! BTW, I just started commuting some of the working days in my Roadster. That's 185 km (115 miles) each way and with charging in between. Not much use for winter tires this far as temperature goes, though - 5-7C (41-45F) with wet roads, no ice.

    Winter Tires?

I also have 4.1.28.33 BTW, I had an incredible trip today - 110 km drive through mountain hills with 2-3 cm of powder snow on the road. In some turns I could feel it was a bit slippery (ice beneath the powder), but the TC is simply great when accelerating on the long stretches. Also, I did a...

    Winter Tires?

f0x, I got the 2010 EU Roadster Sport and changed to new rims & tires today. I use the same tires as you do except they are PA2, not PA3. Rims are BM Racing, Asti. I had only one pressure warning (front left) happening as I was changing, but no warnings at all afterwards. Could this be a...

    Roadster bolt circle?

    Production/Delivery Status

Great, LST - congratulations! I'm heading for a test drive in v.1 next week - to see if a 2010 EU version is anything I could enjoy, before I buy. Not signature, though - I'll go for the regular EU version next year.
