Update: After 3 1/2 weeks Tesla finally got it right and I was able to get it wrapped with PPF. I understand what you are saying, but I expect a $70k car to be free of chips. Especially since it’s black and shows everything.

This tread helped me out. I was having the same problem, but before I called Tesla service I looked on the forum and low and behold I wasn’t the only person with this problem. I took my usb out and reformatted it and it fixed the problem.

Crazy. I ordered a MSM LR on 5/23 but still doing have a VIN for my LR. I ordered my P on 8/11 and got a VIN a week later.

I just did the same. Ordered a MYP yesterday.

Just placed my order today for a Black MYP with black interior. My EDD says 5-7 weeks. I also placed an order for a MSM MYLR on 5/23 and the EDD is Oct 2-27. So we will see which one comes first.

I ordered a MYLR at Tyco SC on 5/23 and now my EDD is saying 5 Oct - 25 Oct. smh the funny thing is when I first got on this forum and saw everyone talking about their EDDs being all over the place I thought they were crazy. Now I am one of them lol.

I just looked and I’m now looking at an October EDD. I ordered back on May 23rd.

I’m glad I came on here and read the threads before going to test drive. My SA tried to get me to apply for financing and I told him no because I read too many post about people’s approvals expiring and then they had to run their credit again.

I will say that my SA does email me back when I email him. It may take him a day or two, but I do get a response.

Whenever I ask my SA about my EDD he always says that “the date you are seeing in your account is correct.” Mind you I ordered 5/23 in Tysons VA. My EDD says October.

I’m in the same situation. I go on vacation for 2 weeks in August and I’m pretty sure Tesla will want to deliver my LRMY during those 2 weeks.

Tesla website says DC has some demo cars available.

Not true. I forgot to use my friend’s referral code and my SA added it a couple of days later to my existing order.
